A method for adaptively allocating resources of an uplink control channel according to a system situation is disclosed. If a base station (BS) recognizes the system situation, establishes control information for resource allocation, and transmits the control information to a mobile station (MS), the mobile station (MS) allocates resources for transmitting uplink control information using a specific block or a specific resource distribution method according to the corresponding control information. The system situation may be changed according to the number of users contained in the BS's coverage or the usage of a multi-antenna. The variation of the system situation is actively reflected so that the uplink channel resources can be effectively used.

Method for allocating resources to uplink control channel

A method for transmitting and receiving signals in a wireless communication system supporting a carrier aggregation of a plurality of component carriers is described. A base station transmits first information indicating a maximum number of resource blocks available for a first type mobile station, and transmits second information indicating an extended number of resource blocks available for a second type mobile station. The first type mobile station does not support the carrier aggregation and the second type mobile station supports the carrier aggregation. The extended number of resource blocks include at least one resource block allocated between each component carrier and a guard band. A mobile station receives the first and second information.

Method of transmitting and receiving channel bandwidth information in a wireless communication system

The present invention relates to a method for measuring channel quality information in a system transmitting a signal via a plurality of component carriers. The method comprises the steps of: measuring a channel quality value of at least one component carrier allocated to a terminal from among a plurality of component carriers used to transmit a signal from a serving cell, to which the terminal belongs, to the terminal; comparing the channel quality value with a critical value for determining whether or not a channel quality of a component carrier not allocated to the terminal from among the plurality of component carriers must be derived; and, if the channel quality value is less than the critical value, measuring a channel quality value of a component not allocated to the terminal from among the plurality of component carriers.

Method for measuring channel quality information on a downlink multi-carrier in a wireless communication system using carrier aggregation

A method of configuring a radio connection in a multiple cell system is provided. The method includes configuring a first radio connection between a user equipment (UE) and a primary base station (BS) and a second radio connection between the UE and a secondary BS based on a cooperative transmission configuration in which a plurality of BSs transmit the same data to the UE, receiving first channel state regarding the first radio connection and second channel state regarding the second radio connection from the UE, releasing at least one radio connection of the first radio connection and the second radio connection, the at least one radio connection having a worse channel state than a threshold, transmitting to the UE, a new cooperative transmission configuration changed by the release of the at least one radio connection, and receiving a layer reconfiguration complete message indicating completion of layer reconfiguration based on the new cooperative transmission configuration.

Method of configuring radio connection in multiple cell system

A portable device, such as a mobile terminal or user equipment, for encoding uplink acknowledgments to downlink transmissions. The portable device includes a receiver configured to receive a plurality of data blocks, such that each of the data blocks include an associated cyclic redundancy check (CRC), and a processor configured to determine received status for each of the data blocks by checking the CRC of each of the data blocks. The portable device further includes a transmitter for transmitting a response sequence which indicates the received status of all of the data blocks.

Encoding uplink acknowledgments to downlink transmissions

A method for transmitting an ACK/NACK signal and a method for establishing the signal transmission are disclosed. A system for the method determines whether the ACK/NACK signal is repeatedly transmitted or not according to channel environments of a user, and transmits the ACK/NACK signal according to the determined result within a single TTI. Areas unused for transmitting the ACK/NACK signal are allocated for data, resulting in an increased reception reliability of the ACK/NACK signal.
