A scroll compressor that includes: a housing, a drive unit configured to generate a rotating force; and a scroll compression unit having a fixed scroll having a spiral scroll wrap for compressing a suctioned fluid and fixed irrespective of a rotation of a drive shaft of the drive unit and a swivel scroll swiveled according to rotation of the drive shaft and having a spiral scroll wrap, comprises: a main frame disposed within the housing to support a rear surface of the swivel scroll and having a back pressure chamber in an interior thereof; a thrust plate disposed between the swivel scroll and the main frame; and a sealing member inserted between the swivel scroll and the main frame. The sealing member includes a first sealing member inserted between the swivel scroll and the thrust plate, and a second sealing member inserted between the thrust plate and the main frame.

Scroll compressor with improved back pressure force control function

The present invention provides an inverter connection terminal assembly for an electric compressor. The inverter connection terminal assembly includes a connection terminal, in which upper and lower terminal projections project from the upper and lower surfaces of a plate, respectively, an inverter connection cable connected to the upper terminal projection of the connection terminal, a motor connection cable connected to the lower terminal projection of the connection terminal, an upper connector for connecting the upper terminal projection and the inverter connection cable, and a lower connector for connecting the lower terminal projection and the motor connection cable, wherein the lower terminal projection of the connection terminal includes a thread formed on the surface thereof such that the motor connection cable is fixed to the lower terminal projection by fastening a nut while a washer and a ring connector are sequentially inserted into the lower terminal projection.

A scroll compressor includes an orbiting scroll having a compressor chamber in an upper portion thereof and a bypass passage formed through upper and lower ends of a body thereof, a fixed scroll that allows the orbiting scroll to orbit therein to compress a coolant, an Oldham ring on which the orbiting scroll is seated, the Oldham ring having an upper chamber formed on an upper surface thereof with predetermined width and depth and a lower chamber formed on a lower surface thereof with predetermined width and depth, and a main frame on which the Oldham ring is seated.

Scroll compressor

A scroll compressor, which allows refrigerant in a compressor chamber to be partially discharged so that frictions generated in frictional surfaces between an orbiting scroll and an Oldham ring and between the Oldham ring and a main frame may be decreased. Also, an upper chamber may be formed on an upper surface thereof and a lower chamber may be formed on a lower surface thereof. An oil supply structure may be provided in a main frame such that lubrication is smoothly performed. Additionally, at least one key may be provided protruding from the lower surface of the Oldham ring. Further, the main frame may include at least one key groove configured to receive the at least one key of the Oldham ring. Additionally, the oil supply groove may be provided separately from and in communication with the at least one key groove.

In a rotation preventive device for a scroll compressor, by forming a rotation preventive member for preventing a rotation of an orbiting scroll between a frame and an orbiting scroll or a fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll as a rectangular shape performable a sliding motion in a radial direction, it is possible to fabricate the rotation preventive member as small and light weight, accordingly the cost of materials can be reduced. In addition, by reducing abrasion between each key and each key groove, a stability of the orbiting scroll can be maintained, and by preventing a leakage of gas from happening, a reliability and an efficiency of a compressor can be improved and a noise of the compressor can be decreased.

Rotation preventive device for scroll compressor

A variable quantity control apparatus for a variable radius type scroll compressor comprises: a rotary shaft coupled to an orbiting scroll for transmitting a rotating force of a driving motor to the orbiting scroll; and an eccentric bushing coupled to a driving pin part of the rotary shaft for transmitting the rotating force of the driving motor and at the same time, for restraining a recession amount of the orbiting scroll, whereby manufacturing cost can be reduced because an additional stopper member can be excluded and the number of components and the number of assembling processes are reduced, and the recession of the eccentric bushing (or the orbiting scroll) can be stably restrained by the surface contacting of a cut surface of the rotary shaft and stopping surfaces of the eccentric bushing.

Variable quantity control apparatus for variable radius type scroll compressor

In a scroll compressor, in order to provide a structure of a driving pin for a scroll compressor which is capable of transmitting a rotational force by being combined with a rotating scroll, in a scroll compressor comprising a fixed scroll having a wrap, a rotating scroll having a wrap engaged with the wrap of the fixed scroll and performing a rotational motion in a radial direction of the rotational axis of a driving device, a driving pin eccentrically formed at the rotational axis of the driving device and inserted into a boss of the rotating scroll and a bush member interposed between the boss of the rotating scroll and the driving pin, the driving pin has a length shorter than a length of the bush member. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent a damage of a driving pin due to a stress concentration by reducing a bending moment of the driving pin.
