The present invention relates to a non-magnetic mono-component toner composition and a preparation method thereof. Disclosed is a non-magnetic mono-component toner composition prepared by coating a spherical organic fine particle having a weight-average molecular weight (M) of 250,000-1,600,000 and an average particle size of 50-500 nm, a hydrophobic silica, and a metal oxide fine particle on a toner mother particle. The non-magnetic mono-component toner composition of the present invention ensures smooth toner supply because of good fluidity, reduces PCR contamination and deterioration of image quality, enables uniform toner layer formation on the development roller, prevents blocking at the blade of the development roller, and solves the low temperature double image problemin the non-imaging region at a low temperature. Therefore, it can be useful for an image printing apparatus adopting the non-magnetic mono-component development system in which the developing roller contacts the photoreceptor.

Non-magnetic monocomponent toner having excellent developing property at low temperature condition

The present invention relates to a magnetic mono-component toner composition, and more particularly to a mono-component toner composition that comprises magnetic toner particle comprising a binder resin, a magnetic component, and a charge control agent; a hydrophobic treated silica having a specific surface area of 20 to 80 m/g; a hydrophobic treated silica having a specific surface area of 130 to 230 m/g; and a metal oxide fine powder. A magnetic mono-component toner composition of the present invention has such good flowability that it provides smooth toner supply even when the developing roller surface has been worn due to long time use, and it has such excellent uniform chargeability that it prevents image deterioration ('wave' patterns of toner may form on developing roller, that is, magnetic sleeve) by forming an uniform toner layer on the developing roller.

Magnetic mono-component toner composition

The present invention relates to a magnetic toner composition, and more particularly to a magnetic toner composition having an improved chargeability and excellent uniform chargeability, and that is capable of reducing a difference in electrostatic charge between a toner remaining in a cartridge or in a developing unit and that of a newly supplied toner. A magnetic toner composition of the present invention comprises magnetic toner particulate comprising a binder resin and a magnetic substance, a conductive fine powder having a specific surface area of 30 to 300 m/g, a hydrophobic silica having a specific surface area of 100 to 240 m/g, and an inorganic fine powder having an average diameter of 0.1 to 4.O &#x3bc;m.
