The disclosure herein discloses a sump pump system for illuminating a sump pump well. The sump pump system comprises a sump pump switch assembly having a float housing, a first float switch and second float switch, and an illumination circuit. The illumination circuit is encased in a waterproof body and includes a first illumination sub-circuit and second illumination sub-circuit. The first illumination sub-circuit includes a first light emitting diode configured to illuminate a wall of the sump pump well in response to the first float switch being closed. The second illumination sub-circuit includes a second light emitting diode configured to illuminate the wall of the sump pump well in response to the second float switch being closed.

Enhanced dual float switch with illumination and switch discrimination

A multi-directional water sensor comprises a housing having multiple conductive pads on the outer surface of the housing at locations spaced around the periphery of the housing, an electrical power source located inside the housing, a buzzer located inside the housing, and multiple electrical conductors located inside the housing and connecting multiple pairs of the contacts so that electrical current can flow between different pairs of the contacts when they are connected by water. The buzzer produces a sound when electrical current flows between any pair of the contacts.

Multi-directional water sensor with alarm

A multi-directional water sensor comprises a housing having multiple conductive pads on the outer surface of the housing at locations spaced around the periphery of the housing, an electrical power source coupled to the conductive pads, and multiple electrical conductors located inside the housing and connecting multiple pairs of the contacts so that electrical current can flow between different pairs of the contacts when they are connected by water. The housing may have a generally rectangular shape, with the contacts located at the corners of the housing. The multiple electrical conductors are connected to an alarm that is energized when electrical current flows between any pair of the contacts.
