The present disclosure is directed to methods and systems for training a classifier for determining the category of a document. In an exemplary aspect, a method comprises obtaining one or more documents belonging to a first category as a training sample for a classifier, determining objects contained in each of the one or more documents, forming, by a hardware processor, a set of features consisting of the objects, constructing the classifier by selecting a classification model and training the classifier based on the set of features, obtaining additional documents belonging to the first category, calculating an error of classification of the additional documents using the classifier and when the error exceeds a given value, obtaining a second set of documents belonging to the first category or one or more new categories, otherwise, determining that the classifier is complete.

Disclosed herein are systems and methods for identifying images containing a personal identifying document. In one aspect, an exemplary method comprises obtaining a first set of images by selecting images from a stream of images in an arbitrary sequence, determining images in the first set of images that contain documents, generating a second set of images by excluding from the first set of images those images that do not contain documents, determining images in the second set of images that contain basic structural elements of an identification document, generating a third set of images by excluding from the second set of images those images which do not contain basic structural elements of an identification document and identifying from the generated third set of images, at least one image containing at least one identification document based on rules of determination.

Disclosed are systems and method or updating full disk encryption (FDE) software on a computer. An example method comprises: obtaining an updated version of the FDE software; blocking operations of the FDE software on a boot drive of the computer; updating one or more components of the FDE software based on the updated version of the FDE software; modifying a booting process of an operating system of the computer to allow execution of a new version of a pre-boot compatibility verification component before the booting process; executing the new version of the pre-boot compatibility verification component, without decrypting and encrypting data on the boot drive, to determine if the boot drive is compatible with the updated FDE software; and if the boot drive is determined to be compatible with the updated FDE software, performing the booting process of the operating system of the computer.

An example method comprises: blocking operations of the FDE software on a boot drive of the computer; installing one or more components of the updated FDE software; deploying an updated pre-boot compatibility verification component of updated FDE software; rebooting the computer and executing, before booting of an operating system, the updated pre-boot compatibility verification component; determining, by the updated pre-boot compatibility verification component, a compatibility of the boot disk with the updated FDE software without decrypting and encrypting the boot disk of the computer by the updated FDE software; if the boot disk is determined to be compatible with the updated FDE software, authenticating a computer user and booting the operating system of the computer; and unblocking one or more operations of the updated FDE software on the boot drive.
