Disclosed is a method for storing data from a remote device in a blockchain database, the method, performed by a network node, including: receiving a message from the remote device, accessing the message through a control plane, obtaining data included in the message by the remote device, generating a data record including obtained data, and storing generated data record to a blockchain database. Also disclosed is are network node and a computer readable medium.

Method and a node for storage of data in a network

A method for determining an access right of a user terminal to a first network, wherein the user terminal () includes a subscription of a second network (). The method includes: receiving () an access request message () including a data record for a user name and a data record for a password; determining () that the records are in a pre-determined format and that at least one of them includes data from which a subscriber identity for the second network is derivable; generating () an authentication request message from the access server () to a server () configured to perform authentication related tasks in the second network; receiving () information on the outcome of the authentication of the subscriber in the second network, generating () an acknowledgement to the user terminal () indicating right to access to the first network.

Network authentication

The embodiments herein relate to a network node and a method performed in the network node of an operator, for storage of data in a blockchain database in a network that is based on a Service Function Chaining (SFC) architecture, the method comprising: receiving data packets from an IoT device; performing, by a service function in the network node, at least deep packet inspection, DPI, on the received data packets for identifying sensor data of the received data packets; retrieving, from the operator's system, network data associated with the sensor data; retrieving, from a third party system, external data associated with the sensor data; combining the identified sensor data, the network data and the external data to form a combined data; and storing the combined data in the blockchain database.

The embodiments herein relate to an IoT device, a method performed in the IoT device, a network device and a method performed in the network device for securing communication of the IoT device roaming from a home network to a visited network. The method comprising: receiving a request from the IoT device to set up a VPN tunnel; acknowledging the setting up of the VPN tunnel, and routing data received from the IoT device destined for an IoT service provider via the VPN tunnel. This way the encryption/decryption processes are handled by the visited network.

Methods and apparatuses for providing security in a roaming environment

Disclosed is a method for determining identification information on a user of a user terminal including a subscription of a second network, wherein the user terminal is requesting access to a first network. In the method an access request message is received from an entity controlling at least pertly the access to the first network and an identification request message is delivered to the user terminal. The user terminal is configured to return an indication of identification and if the indication is positive, pre-agreed piece of information is retrieved from a location accessible to the server. The pre-agreed piece of information is delivered to the entity controlling the access to the first network in order to provide an access to the first network. Disclosed is a method for optimizing signaling in a mobile communication network, wherein a terminal devices equipped with a subscription is attempting to register to the mobile communication network. The method includes detecting an indication on an unsuccessful registering attempt; updating a counter value maintained for the subscription, the counter value indicating a number of the unsuccessful registering attempts; comparing the updated counter value with a predetermined maximum counter value; and if the updated counter value meets the predetermined maximum counter value instructing to disable a radio communication of the terminal device. Optimization of network resource utilization

A method for retrieving an identifier from a register residing in a mobile communication network, wherein the identifier is mobile subscription specific includes steps of recognizing a modification of information relating to a mobile subscription in a database; determining if the identifier with respect to the mobile subscription, whose information was modified, is missing; performing a query, in response to the determination of missing identifier, towards the register residing in the mobile communication network to request the missing identifier; receiving the missing identifier from the register; delivering the received missing identifier to the database for storing in a context of the mobile subscription. A network node and a system executing the method are also described.
