A new class of alkoxyamines, exhibiting improved stability on storage, especially in the presence of monomers and/or of solvent is described, particularly where the alkoxylamines are a new class of oligomeric alkoxyamines, which are obtained by addition of one or more monomeric entities to an alkoxyamine.

Lubricating compositions comprising thermoassociative and exchangeable copolymers

A process for preparing graft polymers from a polymer is based on conjugated diene units and a graft which is a thiol derivative. The process has an absence of solvent and any radical initiator. The graft polymer can be advantageously be used as additive for a bitumen/polymer composition and in particular permits thermoreversible cross-linking.

The disclosure relates to a bitumen/polymer composition comprising at least one bitumen and at least one graft polymer, the grafts enabling the bitumen/polymer compositions to be thermoreversibly cross-linked. The disclosure also relates to the use of said bitumen/polymer compositions in fields of application relating to roads, especially in the production of asphalt binders, and in industrial fields of application. The disclosure further relates to the method for producing said thermoreversibly cross-linked bitumen/polymer compositions.

The present invention relates to a material intended for forming or printing images, comprising a support and at least one hydrophilic binder-based layer, and its manufacturing method, said method enabling the gelation process of the hydrophilic binder to be controlled. The material according to the invention is characterized in that in at least one of said hydrophilic binder-based layers, said hydrophilic binder is gelated by complexation with a complexing agent present on a heat-sensitive polymer or copolymer, that is hydrophobic at temperatures higher than its lower critical solution temperature LCST to protect the complexing agent, and water-soluble at temperatures less than its LCST to make the complexing agent accessible, the LCST of the heat-sensitive (co)polymer being higher than the setting temperature of said hydrophilic binder. The material according to the invention can be used as photographic material or as material taking aqueous ink compositions applied by the inkjet printing technique.

Material intended for forming or printing images and its manufacturing method

Water-based fluids that can viscosify under shear or can produce a gel or form a gel under shear are obtained by dissolving polymers in an aqueous phase. These polymers comprise three types of functional groups: non-ionic functional groups that are hydrosoluble at the temperature under consideration, ionic functional groups, and functional groups that are hydrophobic at the temperature under consideration. These three types of functional groups can be distributed or spread in a random distribution along the polymer chain. A slightly block distribution is acceptable. For applications to oil wells, functional groups are used which exhibit LCST (Lower Critical Solution Temperature) behavior (i.e., a low critical solution temperature) instead of hydrophobic functional groups. At temperatures below the LCST, the functional groups are hydrophobic.

Polymer solutions with shear reversible properties

The present invention concerns a process for preparing an aqueous composition in the form of a gel at a given temperature. The process is characterized in that an associative water-soluble polymer constituted by a hydrophilic main chain and hydrophobic pendant groups is brought into the presence, in said composition, of at least one surfactant in the form of bilayers when it is in aqueous solution under the same temperature and concentration conditions. Compositions in the form of gels or liquids are thus obtained.
