A tracker circuit configured to provide a variable supply voltage to a power amplifier (PA) circuit is disclosed. The tracker circuit includes a state machine circuit comprising a plurality of states mapped in accordance with transitions associated with a mapping scheme. In some embodiments, the plurality of states of the state machine circuit identify one or more operational modes associated with the tracker circuit, wherein at least one operational mode comprises one or more voltage levels respectively associated therewith. In some embodiments, the one or more operational modes includes at least two active operational modes. In some embodiments, a transition between the one or more operational modes of the tracker circuit is controlled by a digital selection signal received from a digital communication interface associated therewith.

The PPDU may be transmitted on a distributed or contiguous resource unit (RU) allocation. The RU may be configured to not straddle two physical 20 MHz subchannels.

The processing circuitry may be further configured to: encode an uplink (UL) physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU)(UL-PPDU) in accordance with the indication of the RU. The processing circuitry may be further configured to: determine a transmit power for the UL-PPDU based on the maximum receive power.

An apparatus is disclosed including processing circuitry configured to: encode a trigger frame, the trigger frame identifying stations, uplink (UL) resource unit (RUs), first modulation and coding schemes (MCSs) for a first multi-user (MU) UL transmission, and second MCSs for a second MU UL transmission. The processing circuitry may be further configured to transmit the trigger frame to the stations. The processing circuitry may be further configured to decode first UL packets from the stations, wherein the first UL packets are encoded with the first MCSs, and decode second UL packets from the stations, where the second UL packets are encoded with the second MCSs, and wherein each of the first UL packets and a corresponding second UL packet is to be received within a same corresponding UL RU.

An apparatus of a wireless device is disclosed, which includes processing circuitry configured to: encode a null data packet (NDP) announcement (NDP-A) including an indication of stations, configure the wireless device to transmit the NDP-A, and encode a high-efficiency (HE) NDP. The processing circuitry may be further configured to configure the wireless device to transmit the HE-NDP and encode a trigger frame (TF) including feedback parameters for the stations and a resource allocation for each of the stations to transmit a feedback report to the wireless device.
