An apparatus for recognizing whether the earphone is mounted to the portable terminal includes a common ground terminal and a switching terminal of an earphone plug receptacle for electrically connecting to each other and the same pole of an earphone plug when the earphone plug is mounted in the earphone plug receptacle, and an external output managing unit for generating an earphone mounting notification signal through a detector.

An apparatus and method for separating and connecting a main camera and a sub camera in a portable terminal are provided. Disclosed is a built-in antenna module for a portable wireless terminal, in which an antenna carrier allows a distance between a radiator and a mainboard. In the built-in antenna module, the antenna carrier includes a plate type junction panel to which the radiator is fixed, an outer barrier rib extending along an edge of the junction panel with a uniform height, and at least one compartment barrier rib for dividing a space formed by the junction panel and the outer barrier rib. The antenna carrier accommodates a speaker and a vibrator at the space formed by junction panel and the outer barrier rib, such that additional installation spaces for the speaker and the vibrator are not required and thereby the portable wireless terminal comes to be slim, lightweight, and simple.

A simulcasting transmitter control apparatus in a base station of a mobile telecommunication system controls the output timing of transmitters so as to achieve a simulcasting of their outputs in the same channel. The control apparatus including: a unit for inputting control data form a base station control unit, a unit for generating a reference clock, a unit for generating delayed clocks divided from the reference clock, and a delay unit for receiving the control data, setting each delay time period in accordance with the control data, and delaying outputting of paging data from the transmitter by the delay time period in synchronization with the delayed clocks. The delay time period of the delay unit according to the respective control data compensates for the delay characteristic of the transmitters. The simulcasting of the radio frequency signals of the same channel in a reiteration cell area is carried out in the present invention.
