A head mounted display device is provided. The head mounted display device includes a left eye display unit which displays an image for a left eye and is disposed along a trajectory of a left eye ellipse having a first eccentricity, and a left eye lens which faces the left eye display unit and refracts the image for the left eye in a direction of a user's left eye.

Head mounted display device with lens and display that minimize lens reflected virtual image perception

A display device includes a display area and a non-display area at least partially surrounding the display area. A first display substrate includes a plurality of thin film transistors. A second display substrate is disposed opposite to the first display substrate. A seal member is disposed within the non-display area and is disposed between the first display substrate and the second display substrate. The seal member is configured to attach the first display substrate to the second display substrate. Each of the plurality of thin film transistors includes a gate electrode. The gate electrode of at least one of the plurality of thin film transistors overlaps the seal member in a thickness direction of the display device.

An organic light-emitting diode display and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. In one aspect, the display includes a substrate including a display area configured to display an image and a peripheral area surrounding the display area. The display also includes a thin film transistor formed in the display area over the substrate, a first planarization layer covering the TFT in the display area, and an OLED formed over the first planarization layer and electrically connected to the TFT. The display also includes a second planarization layer formed in the peripheral area, the second planarization layer including a plurality of out-gassing holes formed therein, and at least a portion of the second planarization layer thinner than the first planarization layer.

Organic light-emitting diode display and method of manufacturing the same

An organic light emitting diode display includes: a substrate; a gate line on the substrate; a data line crossing the gate line; a driving voltage line extending parallel with at least one of the gate line and the data line; a first thin film transistor coupled to the gate line and the data line and comprising a first semiconductor layer; a second thin film transistor coupled to the first thin film transistor and the driving voltage line and comprising a second semiconductor layer; and an organic light emitting element coupled to the second thin film transistor, wherein at least one of the gate line, the data line, and the driving voltage line comprise a plurality of layers, and the lowest layer of the plurality of layers comprises a first metal layer made of a reflective metal.

Organic light emitting diode display

An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display is disclosed. In one aspect, the display includes a substrate, a switching transistor formed over the substrate, a driving transistor electrically connected to the switching transistor, and a pixel electrode electrically connected to the driving transistor. The display also includes a pixel definition layer covering the pixel electrode and having a pixel opening, an organic emission layer formed only in the pixel opening and connected to the pixel electrode, and a common electrode formed over the organic emission layer. The pixel definition layer is formed over the driving transistor.

An organic light emitting diode display includes: a substrate; an interlayer insulating layer on the substrate; driving source and drain electrodes on the interlayer insulating layer and facing each other; a planarizing layer on the interlayer insulating layer; a pixel electrode on the planarizing layer and including a reflective electrode; a pixel defining layer on an edge portion of the pixel electrode and the planarizing layer, and including an opening for exposing the pixel electrode and a reflective hole for exposing a part of the interlayer insulating layer; an organic emission layer on the pixel electrode within the opening; a common electrode on the organic emission layer and the pixel defining layer and within the reflective hole, and including a transparent electrode; and an optical sensor under the substrate, in which the reflective hole moves light emitted from the organic emission layer to the optical sensor under the substrate.

A thin film transistor array panel includes a plurality of pixels on a substrate. Each pixel of the plurality of pixels includes a driving and a switching thin film transistor. The driving thin film transistor includes a first semiconductor including first source and drain regions, a first gate electrode overlapping the first semiconductor, a gate insulating layer between the first semiconductor and the first gate electrode, an oxide layer between the first semiconductor and the gate insulating layer, and first source and drain electrodes. The switching thin film transistor includes a second semiconductor including second source and drain regions, a second gate electrode overlapping the second semiconductor, and second source and drain electrodes. The switching thin film transistor includes the gate insulating layer between the second semiconductor and the second gate electrode. The gate insulating layer contacts an upper portion of the second semiconductor.
