The present disclosure relates to a display panel including a display area that can be stretched by including a plurality of stretching units and a peripheral area positioned at an edge of the display area. Each of the stretching units includes: a plurality of islands separately disposed to include a plurality of pixels disposed therein; a plurality of bridges extended from the islands to connect adjacent islands or to connect the islands with the peripheral area; and a plurality of openings disposed adjacent to the bridges, between the bridges, and between the bridges and the islands, wherein areas of the islands are gradually increased toward the peripheral area.

Display panel

In a display device, a driving element is disposed on a rear substrate, and a passivation layer covers the driving element. A pixel electrode is disposed on the passivation layer and is connected to the driving element. An organic emission layer is disposed on the pixel electrode and is configured to emit light toward the rear substrate. A common electrode is disposed on the organic emission layer. A touch electrode is disposed between the rear substrate and the passivation layer, and it forms a capacitive component when an external touch occurs.

Display device and touch sensing method thereof

An exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure provides a color conversion display panel including: a light blocking member and a blue light cutting filter disposed on a color conversion substrate; a first color conversion layer and a second color conversion layer disposed on the blue light cutting filter to include nanocrystals; and a transmission layer disposed on the color conversion substrate, wherein the blue light cutting filter overlaps side surfaces of the first color conversion layer, the second color conversion layer, and the transmission layer.

A display device includes a first substrate; a plurality of gate lines arranged in a row direction on the first substrate; a plurality of data lines arranged in a column direction intersecting the row direction; and a plurality of pixels formed in a plurality of pixel areas defined by the gate and data lines, the plurality of pixels comprising at least a first pixel and a second pixel respectively disposed in a first pixel area and a second pixel area that are immediately adjacent to each other. Each of the first and second pixels comprises a thin film transistor electrically connected to the gate and data lines, and a pixel electrode electrically connected to the thin film transistor. The data lines are disposed-apart by different distances from each other in the column direction. Each of the first and second pixel areas comprises a first edge portion adjacent to one of the gate lines and a second edge portion adjacent to another of the gate lines, a length of the first edge portion being greater than a length of the second edge portion. The thin film transistor is disposed at the first edge portion of the first and second pixel areas.

A liquid crystal display according to an exemplary embodiment includes: a first substrate; a second substrate overlapping and separated from the first substrate; a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate; a first color conversion layer, a second color conversion layer, and a transmitting layer between the first substrate and the liquid crystal layer; a first polarization layer between the first color conversion layer and the liquid crystal layer, between the second color conversion layer and the liquid crystal layer, and between the transmitting layer and the liquid crystal layer; and a thin film transistor between the first polarization layer and the liquid crystal layer.

A provided is a display device. The display device in which a plurality of pixels comprising a first pixel for displaying a first color is defined, the display device comprises: an insulating substrate; and a color adjustment pattern which is disposed in a first pixel on the insulating substrate, emits incident light by adjusting the color of the incident light, and has a first stepped portion formed on at least a part of an edge.

Display device having improved display quality

A liquid crystal display (LCD) according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a lower panel having a pixel electrode including at least one unit pixel electrode; an upper panel having a common electrode including at least one unit common electrode; and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the lower and upper panels. The unit pixel electrode includes an at least approximately diagonally oriented and parallelogram-shaped center electrode, and further includes a plurality of branches extending from the center electrode, and the common electrode includes an opening extending in a first direction corresponding to a direction of bending of the LCD.
