A multitrack recorder capable of setting one track or more to a monaural type or a stereo type has a storage unit that stores a history of track-type changing-and-setting operations and operations entailing erasure or changing of audio data stored on each track and that stores specifics of the track-type changing-and-setting operations and the audio data erased or changed along with performance of operations in association with each operation, and a change unit that changes audio data stored in each track, and a type of the track, to audio data that were stored in each track, and a type of the track, before performance of a specified operation.

Multitrack recorder

A multitrack recorder can allocate an input source in a simple manner without regard to whether a track is a monaural type or a stereo type. The multitrack recorder can set tracksand, among a plurality of tracksthrough, to either a monaural type or a stereotype. Track types are stored in memory. On occasion of allocation of an input source to each of the tracks, available input source alternatives are displayed in a display section while being changed according to whether the track is a monaural type or a stereo type.

There is disclosed a device which realizes a shortcut function without providing any key exclusively used for the shortcut function. When a home key is operated in a state where a lower screen at a lower position of a hierarchical structure is displayed, a home screen at an upper position of the hierarchical structure is displayed, and data to specify the lower screen when the home key is operated are stored in association with the home key. When the home key is operated in a state where the home screen is displayed, the lower screen is displayed based on the stored data to take a shortcut to the lower screen from the home screen.

An optical disk recording apparatus for recording a main information signal reproduced from a first optical disk on a second optical disk includes a first part which set an address of a start point of each of tracks of the first optical disk and an address of a position ahead of the start point by a predetermined period of time, a second part which searches a part between the start point and the position ahead of the start point of each of the tracks for an address within a range where each of index values included in subcodes reproduced with the main information signal is zero, and a third part which, with respect to each of the tracks, sets the index values within the range to zero and index values other than the index values within the range to a predetermined value other than zero, and records the index values on the second optical disk together with the main information signal.
