A control signal is generated by an operating means for being operated by a driver. In response to this control signal, an input signal to rear-seat headphones is temporarily attenuated or is replaced by another given signal or a transmission signal from the driver.

Automobile audiovisual system

In an integrated type video reproducing equipment having a reproducing unit for reproducing the video information, a display unit for displaying the reproduced video information, and a chassis for supporting them, the equipment is provided with supporting means for supporting the displacement of both the units, and fixing means for fixing the displacement so that both the units are able to displace in a predetermined direction and to fixe and house in a predetermined position. Thus, there is provided a small-sized video reproducing equipment which is superior in the operability and visibility when in use as well as in the housing efficiency when housed.

Image reproducing device

A visual-sound-reproducing system includes a display panel mounted on a ceiling of a cabin to reproduce a picture on a monitor screen; a moving mechanism moving the display panel toward a home-position that the monitor screen of the display panel is nearly parallel to a ceiling of a cabin of an automobile and a play-position that the monitor screen of the display panel faces rearward; and a visual-sound device providing information regarding visual and sound. The moving mechanism includes a rotational axis extending in a direction crossing a longitudinal direction of an automobile to support rotationally the display panel, a rotational means driving rotationally the display panel about the rotational axis, a guide member extending in the longitudinal direction of the automobile, and a rectilinear moving means moving reciprocally the display panel in the longitudinal direction of the automobile, the display panel being supported on the guide member to allow a slide of the display panel thereon.

In order to reduce the possibility of moisture, which has seeped into a door from its lower side, contacting with a speaker and also of air pressure building up behind the speaker and hindering the movement of the diaphragm, a waterproof cover 3 is provided which includes a magnet cover 31 which follows the circumference of a magnet 16, a frame cover 32 which partially overlaps with the magnet cover 31 and follows the circumference of the frame 15 when it is combined with a speaker 2, a first aperture 33 placed between the magnet 16 and the magnet cover 31 and a second aperture 34 placed between the magnet cover 31 and the frame cover 32.

A navigation device comprises a traffic information receiving means (103) for receiving traffic information, and a display form controlling unit (107) for displaying a traffic-jam indicating line along a road in a traffic jam on a road map displayed on a display device (106), and for changing display forms, such as the colors or widths, of either roads or traffic-jam indicating lines on the road map on-screen when the display form controlling unit determines from the traffic information received that a number of links each of which are respectively connecting two nodes such as intersections and includes a congested road section is equal to or more than a predetermined number or when the scale of the road map displayed on the display device is smaller than a predetermined scale.

Navigation device

A tinsel cord support member 30 is formed on a gasket 24, two grooves for supporting tinsel cords 26 and conducting them from a tip end portion of the tinsel cord support member 30 up to near terminal lugs 28 are formed at predetermined intervals from each other in the tinsel cord support member, and a hollow portion 30a is provided between the two grooves formed in the tinsel cord support member 30.

Speaker

A traffic information display unit having a road type associated traffic information display mode control unit for altering the display mode of a traffic information representation in accordance with the type of a road associated with the traffic information. Alternatively, it may have a traffic information additional symbol adding unit for adding a traffic information additional symbol indicating the direction of a road associated with an accident/regulation information. Those make it possible to solve conventional problems in that a driver must manipulate a switch each time he wishes to distinguish the traffic information representation of an expressway from that of a local road, or that he cannot recognize lane in which the accident/regulation takes place because the traffic information representation of the accident/regulation information was a simple symbol on the road without showing the direction.

Traffic information display unit

A digital display device which has a delay circuit for operating a segment on-off driver so that when the ambient temperature at the time of renewing display is lower than a predetermined value, an OFF signal is sent to an ON segment and then, after the lapse of a predetermined time, an ON signal is sent to an OFF segment. Consequently, the overlap time between the segment to which an OFF signal was newly transmitted and the segment to which an ON signal was newly transmitted, can be made very short or eliminated whereby the discriminatability is improved to prevent misunderstanding of the display.
