A method of producing a directly blow-formed container. The method includes subjecting a multilayered parison having an inner surface formed of an olefin resin to direct blow forming, the olefin resin containing (i) an organic bleeding lubricant having a melting point of not higher than 50&#xb0; C. in an amount of 5 to 10% by mass, and (ii) a high silica zeolite having a silica/alumina mole ratio of not less than 80 in an amount of 0.2 to 3.0% by mass.

A blow molding capable of maintaining the parison thickness distribution uniform, fabricating high-quality molded products, and improving its productivity. A parison supply device for supplying, to a blow mold, a parison discharged from an extrusion die, the parison supply device including: a pair of chucks for pinching, from above and below, a parison discharged downward from the extrusion die; and a chuck operation part for controlling an operation of pinching the parison by the pair of chucks and an operation of moving the pair of chucks. By the chuck operation part, the pair of chucks performs the operation of pinching the parison while being moved downward.

A method of filling a container with a viscous content by providing a container that has an inner surface formed by using a thermoplastic resin and, specifically, an olefin resin, applying an edible oil or a liquid paraffin on the inner surface of the container to form an oil film thereon, and filling the container that has the oil film formed on the inner surface thereof with a viscous content that has a viscosity at 25&#xb0; C. of not less than 100 mPa&#xb7;s.

A parison supply device that continuously supplies, to a blow molding die, parison sections of a parison discharged from an extrusion die, the parison section having a specified length. The parison supply device includes a plurality of tension chucks and a tension chuck operation unit that operates the plurality of tension chucks. The tension chuck operation unit causes the individual tension chucks to perform a repeated operation of grasping the parison at a first position near the extrusion die and moving to a second position separated from the extrusion die such that, before the preceding tension chuck is separated by a set distance from the extrusion die at the second position, the following tension chuck grasps the parison at the first position, and then the parison section is supplied to the blow molding die.

Parison supply device and supply method

A container of a multilayered structure comprising an inner layer and an outer layer of a low-density polyethylene, and an intermediate layer that includes a gas-barrier resin layer and adhesive layers, wherein the adhesive layers contain an acid-modified polyethylene and a propylene resin, the propylene resin being contained in an amount of 0.5 to 10% by weight in the adhesive layers. The container is obtained by using decreased amounts of resins without impairing properties of the containers.

Containers of a multilayered structure

A polyethylene resin composition which permits the bleeding additive contained therein to be bled at an increased rate even if it has a large molecular weight and, therefore, permits the bleeding agent to be bled to the surface of the resin in an amount sufficient for exhibiting its properties. The polyethylene resin composition comprises, as a main polymer (A), a high pressure process low-density polyethylene and, as a sub-polymer (B), at least one kind of polyethylene selected from the group consisting of a metallocene-type low-density polyethylene and a high pressure process low-density polyethylene having an MFR larger than that of the main polymer (A), the polyethylene resin composition being, further, blended with a bleeding additive.

Polyethylene resin composition and containers using the same

The present invention relates to resin pellets which comprises a thermoplastic resin (A) and an oxidation catalyst (B) which is not supported by any carrier, wherein if the peak area in the vicinity of 1715 cmis defined to be Ic and the peak area observed in the vicinity of 1470 cmis defined to be Im in the IR spectroscopic measurement of the pellets, the ratio: Ic/Im observed for the surface of the pellet is greater than that observed for the interior thereof. The pellets are thermoplastic resin pellets excellent in the oxygen-absorbing capacity and accordingly, they can suitably used as pellets for molding an oxygen absorptive resin article.

Thermoplastic resin pellets and method for preparing same

The object of the present invention is to provide an oxygen-absorbing resin composition having a high oxygen absorbability and capable of absorbing oxygen for a long period of time. The present invention provides an oxygen-absorbing resin composition comprising polyolefin resin (A) obtained by polymerizing an olefin having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, resin (B) which is other than resin (A) and which acts as a trigger for the oxidation of resin (A), and transition metal catalyst (C), wherein resin (B) is dispersed in the matrix of resin (A) so that the oxidation reaction of matrix resin (A) is caused and thus oxygen is absorbed when the oxygen-absorbing resin composition is brought into contact with oxygen. This oxygen absorbing resin composition has a high oxygen absorbability and is advantageous in cost because oxygen is absorbed in resin (A).

Oxygen-absorbing resin composition and laminate

The present invention herein provides a plastic multi-layer structure which comprises an oxygen-barrier layer (A-1), an oxygen absorptive layer (B), and a thermoplastic resin layer (C) containing a high silica type zeolite material having a silica/alumina ratio of not less than 80; and a packaging material such as bottles for accommodating foods, for instance, a beverage and medical and pharmaceutical products. The plastic multi-layer structure possesses oxidation-barrier characteristics and the structure would permit the considerable reduction of the quantity of the oxidation by-products generated from the structure, even when used under a high humidity atmosphere.

The present invention herein provides an oxygen-absorbing resin composition which is excellent in the oxygen-absorbability and which can inhibit any deterioration through oxidation during the molding operations of the composition and does not accordingly undergo any coloration during the molding operations. The present invention thus provides an oxygen-absorbing resin composition characterized in that it comprises (A) a hydrogenated styrene-diene copolymer; (B) a thermoplastic resin including ethylenic structural units in its molecular structure; and (C) a transition metal catalyst, wherein the oxidation of the thermoplastic resin (B) proceeds while the copolymer (A) serves as a trigger and the composition thus absorbs oxygen. In this respect, the copolymer (A) comprises carbon-carbon double bonds derived from the diene in an amount ranging from 1&#xd7;10.5 to 1&#xd7;10.2 eq/g.

Oxygen-absorbing resin composition

A composite synthetic resin material forming apparatus comprises an outer channel having an outer outlet, an inner channel having an inner outlet opening into the outer channel, outer synthetic resin supply means for flowing an outer synthetic resin through the outer channel, and inner synthetic resin supply means for flowing an inner synthetic resin through the inner channel. Opening and closing means for selectively opening and closing the inner outlet is disposed. The outer synthetic resin supply means intermittently supplies the outer synthetic resin to the outer channel in accordance with opening and closing of the inner outlet by the opening and closing means.

Composite synthetic resin material forming method and apparatus

A resin composition obtained by blending a thermoplastic resin that can be melt-extruded at a solubility parameter of not smaller than 9.5 with an organic oxidizing component and with a transition metal catalyst, the organic oxidizing component being a polyene having a functional group on a side chain or at a terminal thereof. The resin composition has excellent moldability and gas shut-off property. A multi-layer container having an oxygen-absorbing layer of this resin composition exhibits excellent gas-barrier property and is capable of favorably preserving the content.

Resin composition and multi-layer container using the same

A packaging material having an oxygen-absorbing layer of a thermoplastic resin which is blended with an organic oxidizing component and with a transition metal catalyst, wherein the thermoplastic resin is not substantially oxidized in the presence of the transition metal catalyst. The thermoplastic resin is not deteriorated by oxidation and, hence, oxygen-barrier property is not deteriorated, making it possible to stably suppress the permeation of oxygen over extended periods of time.

An organic resin-coated seamless can with necked-in portion is disclosed, which is produced by subjecting a resin-coated steel sheet to drawing-re-drawing for reducing thickness or to drawing-re-drawing-ironing for reducing thickness-ironing and which has a ratio of diameter of necked-in portion to diameter of body of 0.9 or less than that, said steel sheet being coated by 5- to 30-.mu.m thick organic resin layer on both surfaces of aluminum-killed, surface-treated steel sheet of 0.01 to 0.13 % by weight in total carbon amount and not more than 6.5 .mu.m in average grain diameter having been subjected to over-aging after continuous annealing to adjust to not more than 10 ppm in solid-dissolved carbon amount. This can scarcely has rough surface or pinholes in the necked-in portion even when the necked-in portion has been considerably compressed upon its formation.
