A coaxial connector to be connected to a mating connector includes a fixed assembly body and a movable assembly body connected to the fixed assembly body along an axial direction. The fixed assembly body includes a fixed side inner conductive body; a holding member for holding the movable assembly body; a fixed side insulation member for insulating between the fixed side inner conductive body and the holding member; and a first urging member for using the movable assembly body. The movable assembly body includes a movable side inner conductive body; a movable side outer conductive body; and a movable side insulation member. The movable side inner conductive body includes a first relay terminal having a retaining portion, a second relay terminal having a contact portion retained in the retaining portion, and a second urging member for urging the second relay terminal toward the fixed side inner conductive body.

Coaxial connector

A coaxial connector comprises a plug-side coaxial member (,) to be plugged with a mating connector (,) and consisting of a plug-side central conductor (,) and a plug-side outer conductor (,) and a base-side coaxial member (,) to be attached to an object and consisting of a base-side central conductor (,) and a base-side outer conductor (,) such that the plug-side coaxial member is movable in the radial direction with respect to the base-side coaxial member. The plug-side and the base-side outer conductors (,) and (,) are in contact with each other and cover almost all the plug-side central conductor (,) and a portion of the base-side central conductor (,) between the contact point with the plug-side central conductor and the connection point with the object.

A pair of male and female coaxial connectors which includes male and female rectangular housings with a plurality of through holes arranged at a predetermined interval in a lengthwise direction of the rectangular housing in which male and female terminals are arranged in at least one line. The male terminals includes a plurality of male outer conductors each fitted in one of the through holes and having upper and lower inner surfaces extending parallel to a specified plane which extends in the lengthwise direction and in a widthwise direction of the rectangular housing; a plurality of male dielectric blocks each fitted in a rear portion of one of the male outer conductors to define a cavity within the one male outer conductor; and a plurality of male central conductors each projecting into the cavity from one of the dielectric blocks and having upper and lower outer surfaces extending parallel to the specified plane.

Electrical connector

A coaxial cable connector includes an L-shaped outer conductive shell (1) having a tubular trunk section (6) with a front coupling mouth (9) and a rear connection opening (10) and a holder section (7) extending laterally from the trunk section for holding a coaxial cable (4); an L-shaped dielectric member (2) housed in the outer conductive shell and having a front tubular portion with an aperture (2a) therein and a rear portion for holding the coaxial cable; and a central terminal (3) housed in the aperture and having a front portion (3a) for contact with a mating connector and a rear portion (3b) for connection to a central conductor of the coaxial cable. The holder section has a pair of wing portions (11) bent around the rear section of the dielectric member.

L-shaped coaxial cable connector

A coaxial connector for use in connecting a first coaxial cable having a terminal processed in advance, to a second cable. The first cable comprises a central conductor, an insulator surrounding the conductor, a braid surrounding the insulator for shielding the same, and a sheath surrounding the braid for protecting the same. The coaxial connector comprises a sleeve section having an inner peripheral surface in close contact with an outer peripheral surface of the sheath, and a shell section integral with the sleeve section in coaxial relation thereto. A plurality of soldering bores are formed in the shell section and cooperate with each other to form passageway through which molten solder can pass to fill up an annular gap formed between an outer peripheral surface of the braid and an inner peripheral surface of the shell section. The coaxial connector may further comprise at least one cable-sheath viewing bore which is formed in the sleeve section and one can view the presence of the sheath through the viewing bore.

A low profile electrical connector for mounting on a printed circuit board, which includes a substantially rectangular housing (1) made from a conductive material and having a mounting leg (5) extending downwardly from a side thereof; a dielectric block (2) fitted into a bottom of the housing and having a supporting rib (6) extending upwardly from an upper surface thereof and a slot (7) extending downwardly along a side of the supporting rib; a substantially U-shaped contact element (3) made from a conductive sheet and fitted over the supporting rib, the contact element having a short leg (8) bent outwardly for making a resilient contact portion and a long leg (9) projecting downwardly from the dielectric block through the slot for making a connection portion.

Low profile electrical connector for printed circuit board

A coaxial cable connector includes a tubular L-shaped outer conductive shell (1) having a trunk portion (5) with a coupling opening (8) and an arm portion (7) extending laterally from said trunk portion and having a connection opening (9); an L-shaped dielectric body (2) placed in the conductive shell and having an L-shaped channel (12) therein; and an L-shaped central terminal (3) placed in the L-shaped channel and having an annular connection portion (3B) with a slit for connection with a central conductor (24) of a coaxial cable (20).

Connector for coaxial cable

A low profile connector for a coaxial cable, which includes a metal shell (1) with a cable gripper (3) extending from a side thereof for gripping the coaxial cable; a dielectric block (2) fitted into the metal shell and having a partition wall (4) for defining a contact recess (5) and a connection recess (6); and a U-shaped contact element (10) with a pair of leg members (11, 12) fitted into the contact and connection recesses, respectively, such that a leg member with a connection slit (12A) bites into a dielectric body of the coaxial cable and comes into contact with a central conductor by an insulation replacement technique while the other leg member is supported by the partition wall for contact with a contact element of a mating connector.

Low profile coaxial connector

A coaxial cable connector includes a tubular outer conductive shell (1) having a coupling opening (8), a slit (5A) extending upwardly from the coupling opening, and an annular groove (10) on an outside surface adjacent the coupling opening; and a stop ring (11) loosely fitted over the annular groove and having a polygonal inner face.

A female coaxial connector having a substantially cylindrical conductive shell with an opening for receiving the columnar connecting portion of a male coaxial connector, which comprises a female contacting portion provided within the opening and having at least one pair of contact fingers extending in the circumferential direction so as to give elasticity and defining a clearance communicating with the opening, and a protective member provided in contact with or in the proximity of the outside of the female contacting portion for the protection thereof. A method of making a female coaxial connector, which comprises the steps of stamping conductive shells and protective members in integral form, folding the integral conductive shell and protective member at a bend to form a double structure, and making the double structured conductive shell and protective member into cylindrical form, followed by the insertion of an assembly of a dielectric body and a female terminal into the conductive shell.
