A raw edge V-belt includes: a compression rubber layer formed on an inner side of the belt and made of a rubber composition. The rubber composition contains a rubber component, fine cellulose fibers, and short fibers. The content of the short fibers in the rubber composition is 25 parts by mass or more and 45 parts by mass or less per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, and the volume fraction of the short fibers in the rubber composition is 12.5 vol % or more.

Raw edge V-belt

A power transmission belt includes a belt body made of rubber and a cord embedded in the belt body. The belt body has a portion having the cord embedded therein, and the portion is made of a rubber composition having a storage normal modulus at 25&#xb0; C. in a grain direction of 80 MPa or more and the ratio of the storage normal modulus at 25&#xb0; C. in the grain direction to a storage normal modulus at 25&#xb0; C. in a cross-grain direction of 1.20 or more to 2.50 or less. The rubber composition is arranged such that the grain direction corresponds to a belt length direction and the cross-grain direction corresponds to a belt width direction.

Transmission belt

A large V-belt includes an endless rubber belt body including an adhesive rubber layer and a cord embedded in the adhesive rubber layer of the belt body. The large V-belt has a belt thickness of 15 mm or more and the belt width of 10 mm or more at the center, in a belt thickness direction, of a cord embedded position. The belt body further includes reinforced rubber layers made of a rubber composition having a type A durometer hardness of 92 or more, the reinforced rubber layers being stacked on a belt inner side and/or a belt outer side of the adhesive rubber layer in the belt thickness direction.

Large V-belt

A belt-type transmission includes a drive pulley, a driven pulley, and a V-belt. In at least a certain range of a low-speed layout, a pulley-groove V angle of a portion of a drive pulley where the V-belt is wrapped is larger than an average belt V angle when the V-belt is bent at a curvature corresponding to a wrapping diameter of the V-belt with respect to the drive pulley, and a pulley-groove V angle of a portion of a driven pulley where the V-belt is wrapped is larger than an average belt V angle when the V-belt is bent at a curvature corresponding to the wrapping diameter of the V-belt with respect to the driven pulley.

Belt-type transmission

On each block side face of the blocks of a V-belt for transmitting high load, a ratio of a dimension extending in a belt thickness direction from a buried cord center line of a corresponding tension band to an upper end of an upper pulley-contact face to a dimension extending in the belt thickness direction from the buried cord center line to a lower end of the upper pulley-contact face is larger than or equal to 4.0, and a dimension extending in the belt thickness direction from the buried cord center line to a middle of the upper pulley-contact face is smaller than or equal to 2.3 mm.
