The ECU of the stabilizer control apparatus determines, based on a high frequency component of a wheel acceleration and a low frequency component of a wheel speed difference, whether a road surface state is a rough road state or a smooth road state. When the road surface state is determined to be the rough road state, the ECU sets a turning determination threshold to a rough road threshold. When the road surface state is determined to be the smooth road state, the ECU sets the threshold to a smooth road threshold. When a turning determination parameter is greater than the threshold, the ECU sets each of first, second, and third cylinders to a lock state to increase rigidity of stabilizers. When the turning determination parameter is smaller than the turning determination threshold, the ECU sets each of the cylinders to a free state to decrease the rigidity of the stabilizers.

Stabilizer control apparatus

A vehicle-height control system includes: a fluid supply and discharge device including a compressor device and a tank storing fluid pressurized by the compressor device; a vehicle-height control actuator corresponding to a wheel and connected to the fluid supply and discharge device; a vehicle height controller that controls a vehicle height for the wheel by controlling the fluid supply and discharge device to control supply and discharge of fluid to and from the vehicle-height control actuator; a tank pressure controller that controls a tank pressure; and a fluid supply controller that supplies the fluid to a low pressure portion by controlling the fluid supply and discharge device at start and/or termination of at least one of control executed by the vehicle height controller and control executed by the tank pressure controller. The low pressure portion is at least a portion of the fluid supply and discharge device.

Vehicle-height control system and pressure source device

A suspension ECU computes an actual roll angle and an actual pitch angle of a vehicle, and computes a difference between a target pitch angle and the actual pitch angle. The ECU then computes a total demanded damping force which must be cooperatively generated by shock absorbers so as to decrease the computed difference to zero, and distributes the total demanded damping force in proportion to the magnitude of a lateral acceleration such that a demanded damping force on the turn-locus inner side becomes greater than a demanded damping force on the turn-locus outer side. Further, the ECU determines whether or not the vehicle body is vibrating in the vertical direction as a result of input of a road surface disturbance, calculates a vibration-suppressing damping force needed for damping the vibration, and determines the demanded damping forces by use of the vibration-suppressing damping force.

Damping force control apparatus for vehicle

A vehicle control system for controlling a vehicle having a body, a pair of front wheels, and a pair of rear wheels, including a body-height adjusting device which adjusts four body heights each of which is defined as a relative-position relationship between corresponding one wheel of the pair of front wheels and the pair of rear wheels, and the body; and a brake-operation-force control device which controls respective operation forces of a pair of front-wheel brakes and a pair of rear-wheel brakes that restrain respective rotations of the pair of front wheels and the pair of rear wheels. The brake-operation-force control device includes an operation-force lowering portion which lowers, when the body-height adjusting device is adjusting at least one of the four body heights, the respective operation forces of at least one pair of brakes of the pair of front-wheel brakes and the pair of rear-wheel brakes, as compared with the respective operation forces when the body-height adjusting device is not adjusting any of the four body heights.
