A multiview video coding method and device used in coding of non-referenced view video groups. A view compensation pattern and a parallelization view pattern are determined based on video characteristics, such as the number of bits of each frame of a first non-referenced view video group among the non-referenced view video groups, the difference between the number of bits of each frame and the number of bits of a left reference view image, the difference between the number of bits of each frame and the number of bits of a right reference view image. A view compensation pattern and a parallelization view pattern of a successive non-referenced view video group are determined as the view compensation pattern and the parallelization view pattern of the first non-referenced view video group, whereby multiview video images are coded at a high coding rate without deteriorating image quality.

The present invention relates to a block matching apparatus, and more particularly, to a block matching apparatus, in which a normal driving power and a low driving power are alternately applied to an absolute difference calculation unit for calculating an absolute difference between a pixel of a first image frame and a pixel of a second image frame corresponding thereto among two stereo image frames, and a low absolute difference of corresponding pixels calculated using the low driving power is compensated with a high absolute difference of adjacent corresponding pixels calculated using the normal driving power, so that since a separate estimation unit does not need to be provided, the block matching apparatus can be lightly manufactured in terms of hardware and can reduce power consumption.

Exemplary embodiments of the present invention relate to a method of estimating a channel in a wireless communication network using the IEEE 802.11ad communication standard, and more particularly, to a method of estimating a channel which can determine a channel environment and actively select a channel estimation scheme according to the determined channel environment, and correctly estimate the channel while reducing the amount of computation by selectively using a pilot channel estimation value only in a pilot estimation period and adjacent pilot estimation periods when the channel changes severely, i.e., when a deep hole occurs, in the pilot estimation period although an LTF channel estimation value is used.
