A busbar module connects a first cell and a second cell adjacent to the first cell, arranged in a first direction and each having first and second electrode terminals spaced apart in a second direction normal to the first direction. The busbar module includes a busbar that electrically connects a first electrode terminal of the first cell and a second electrode terminal of the second cell to each other, and an insulating portion that accommodates the busbar. The busbar includes a first recessed mounting portion, the first recessed mounting portion and a protruding shape of the first electrode terminal having interfitting shapes and a second recessed mounting portion, the second recessed mounting portion and a protruding shape of the second electrode terminal having interfitting shapes, the first and second mounting portions, being slideably coupleable with the first and second electrode terminals.

Busbar module

A secondary battery includes an electrode assembly, a battery case, and a cap assembly. The electrode assembly may include a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator. The battery case may accommodate the electrode assembly, which may be inserted into the battery case through an opening provided on one side of the battery case. The cap assembly may include a cap plate coupled to the side of the battery case including the opening and sealing up the battery case, and first and second terminals spaced on the cap plate. The first and second terminals may each include first and second terminal plates including protrusions that protrude away from the electrode assembly, and first and second terminal connection members on the first and second terminal plates and including grooves that can be combined with the corresponding protrusions.

Secondary battery and secondary battery module including the same

A battery pack includes a battery assembly including battery cells and spacers that are alternately arrayed, a side plate extending across a side of the battery assembly, and a motion prevention unit protruding from the side plate toward the battery assembly so as to cover a portion of the battery assembly, the motion prevention unit being arrayed on the spacers.

Battery pack

A battery module according to aspects of the present invention includes a plurality of battery cells each having a terminal, a reflective portion on the terminal, and a bus-bar coupled to the terminal to electrically connect the plurality of battery cells. The bus-bar may have an opening exposing at least a portion of the reflective portion. The reflective portion may be configured to reflect laser incident thereon through the opening. A method of manufacturing the battery module may include placing a bus-bar electrically connecting terminals of a plurality of battery cells, each of the terminals having a reflective portion on a top surface thereof, and the bus-bar having an opening exposing at least a portion of the reflective portion, and welding the bus-bar and the terminal to each other. The task of welding the bus bar may include irradiating a laser through the opening in the bus-bar.

Battery module and method of manufacturing the same

An electrode terminal and battery module having the same are disclosed. In one aspect, the electrode terminal includes a first sub-terminal including a plurality of guide grooves and a second sub-terminal including a plurality of guides configured to be respectively inserted into the guide grooves in a sliding manner. At least one of the guide grooves is formed in an upper surface of the first sub-terminal.

Electrode terminal and battery module having the same

A battery module includes a plurality of battery cells, each including terminal portions on a first surface thereof, the plurality of battery cells being aligned in a first direction; and a terminal connecting member configured to connect terminal portions of first and second battery cells of the plurality of battery cells that are adjacent to each other, and the terminal connecting member includes first and second contact portions spaced apart from each other to respectively come in surface contact with the terminal portions of the first and second battery cells, and a body portion connecting the first and second contact portions to each other.

Battery module

A battery pack is disclosed. In one aspect, the battery pack includes a battery cell, a temperature sensor configured to measure the temperature of the battery cell, and an inner cover substantially covering the battery cell. The inner cover includes a sensor attachment fixing the temperature sensor to the battery cell. The battery pack has a structure for easily attaching the temperature sensor to the battery cell.

A secondary battery module includes a plurality of secondary batteries each including an electrode assembly, a case accommodating the electrode assembly, and electrode terminals electrically connected to the electrode assembly and extending outward from the case, and a bus bar that electrically connects neighboring electrode terminals of the plurality of secondary batteries. The bus bar includes a first part including penetration holes through which the electrode terminals penetrate such that the bus bar is fastenable to the electrode terminals and a second part extending from the first part, the second part being bent to face the first part.

Provided is a battery pack including: a plurality of unit cells; a battery holder in which the plurality of unit cells are mounted; an electrode tab arranged on the battery holder; and a bus bar of which portion is arranged on the electrode tab, wherein the battery holder includes a welding part that contacts the electrode tab.

A battery pack assembly including: an inner pack accommodating a plurality of secondary cells; an outer pack accommodating the inner pack; a first shock absorbing member between a first surface of the inner pack and a first surface of the outer pack, the first shock absorbing member configured to absorb a shock between the inner pack and the outer pack; and a second shock absorbing member between at least a side surface of the inner pack and a side surface of the outer pack among surfaces of the inner pack and the outer pack other than the first surfaces, the second shock absorbing member configured to absorb a shock between the inner pack and the outer pack.
