Systems and methods for real-time user verification in online education are disclosed. In certain example embodiments, user identifying information associated with a user and a request to access online education content may be received from a user device. A face template including historical facial image data for the user can be identified. Current facial image data can be compared to the face template to determine if a match exists. Biometric sensor data, such as heart rate data, may also be received for the user. The biometric sensor data may be evaluated to determine if the user is currently located at the user device. If the user is currently located at the user device and the current facial image data matches the face template, access to the online education content may be provided to the user at the user device.

Systems and methods for real-time user verification in online education

Technologies for monitoring vehicle traffic include a traffic analysis server that receives infrastructure data from infrastructure sensors positioned along a road segment of a road and vehicle data from one or more vehicles travelling along the road segment. The traffic analysis server determines whether anomalies are present in the traffic data through the road segment based on an expected traffic behavior for the road segment. The traffic analysis server determines the expected traffic behavior for the road segment in a particular time window based on a historical traffic pattern associated with the road segment, based on historical vehicle data and historical infrastructure data captured during a prior time window corresponding to the particular time window for that road segment. The disclosed embodiments generally relate to methods, systems and apparatuses for dynamic firmware/software (FW/SW) update distribution in highly and fully autonomous or automated vehicles. In one embodiment, the disclosure relates to an apparatus to dynamically upgrade code in a vehicle. The apparatus may include: a communication module for one or more of wireless or landline communication; a central processing unit (CPU) in communication with the communication module, the CPU configured to receive an indication requiring a code upgrade to an existing vehicle code software and receive the code upgrade; store the code upgrade; execute code upgrade in parallel with the existing vehicle code software; log one or more error indications resulted from execution of the code upgrade; replace the existing vehicle code with the code upgrade if the logged error indication is less than a first threshold; and direct the code upgrade to a second vehicle to update the second vehicle code. The disclosed embodiments may be implemented in autonomous driving (AD) vehicles as well as vehicles having operating code or software/firmware.

In some embodiments, the disclosed subject matter involves a system and method to identify objects in an environment or scene to assist in locating objects and individuals. In at least one embodiment, users register with a service to help locate and/or track objects and individuals. The service may provide recommendations on how to locate, reach, or avoid the target object or individual. Identifying and tracking an object may be used to locate an individual when the object is correlated with the individual. Individuals may register with the service for purposes of user authentication and for defining privacy authorizations for data related to the identifying the user and user's location to other parties. The service may execute in a trusted execution environment to help preserve privacy. Embodiments may be used for games, geo-caching, finding groups and individuals for meeting up, avoiding objects or individuals, etc. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Technologies for seamless data streaming include a control server and one or more client computing devices. A client computing device receives user presence data indicative of whether a user is nearby from one or more sensors. The client computing device may receive user interest data indicative of the user's interest level in the current data stream from one or more sensors. The control server identifies available client computing devices based on the user presence data, selects a target client computing device, and causes the data stream to transition from the current client computing device to the target client computing device. The target client computing device may be selected based on proximity of the user or the user's interest level in the data stream. The volume or balance of the data stream may be adjusted to provide a smooth transition between client computing devices. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
