A dishwasher, in particular a household dishwasher, includes a dishwasher cavity, a spray apparatus for dispensing washing liquor, and a drive facility including an electric motor designed to actively drive the spray apparatus so as to apply washing liquor to an item to be washed arranged in the dishwasher cavity. The drive facility includes a detection unit for detecting a motor rotational speed of the electric motor. A control apparatus determines a blockage of the spray apparatus in dependence upon the detected motor rotational speed.

Dishwasher, method and computer program product

A household dishwasher includes a washing container receiving a dishwasher load, a pump pot, and a spray arm for applying washing liquor and/or fresh water to the dishwasher load in the washing container. The spray arm is actively driven by a drive system and mounted on the pump pot for rotation about an axis of rotation. The spray arm has a rib geometry that revolves around the axis of rotation and includes an encoding groove running along the axis of rotation. The pump pot includes an encoding rib running along the axis of rotation and corresponding to the encoding groove. The encoding rib is configured for passage through the encoding groove along the axis of rotation during assembly and disassembly of the spray arm so as to enable the spray arm to be assembled on and disassembled from the pump pot in precisely one angular position.

Domestic dishwasher

A liquid heating pump includes an impeller chamber having an impeller, which can be rotatably driven, and a diffusor chamber and/or pressure chamber arranged axially downstream in the flow direction and having a stationary diffusor. A heating device is associated with the diffusor and/or pressure chamber. The diffusor has a main body, in particular in the shape of a circular cylinder. The main body has a front wall on which a guide blade portion is arranged which axially protrudes in a direction of the impeller into a liquid ejection region of the impeller arranged around an outer periphery of the impeller and which extends away from the liquid ejection region outwardly toward an axial outer casing of the main body, which axial outer casing is arranged radially further outwardly than the liquid ejection region of the impeller.
