A device for calibrating two electric motors mounted on one axle in two-axle motor vehicles includes at least one electronic control unit configured to check whether predefined conditions for a switchover from torque control to rotational speed control are met. If met, the at least one electronic control unit is configured to switch to rotational speed control for a predefined period of time. A torque-dependent characteristic map with correction values is created on the basis of this difference. The target torques are corrected by the correction values during torque control after rotational speed control has been deactivated.

A method for switching off a current-excited synchronous machine of a motor vehicle, the current-excited synchronous machine having a rotor supplied by an excitation circuit of power electronics and a stator supplied via a bridge circuit of the power electronics, the method including interrupting a current supply to the rotor and the stator. The method further includes switching over the excitation circuit of the power electronics to a first freewheeling position, whereby energy contained in the excitation circuit and in the rotor is fed into a first energy store via a first feedback arrangement, and switching over the bridge circuit of the power electronics to a second freewheeling position, whereby energy contained in the bridge circuit and in the stator is fed into a second energy store via a second feedback arrangement.

Method for switching off a current-excited synchronous machine of a motor vehicle

An apparatus for protecting an electrical machine in the event of a fault, the electrical machine having six phase terminals includes a monitoring unit for detecting a fault of the electrical machine and a switchover unit for switching the electrical machine from a normal operating state into a short-circuit operating state if a fault of the electrical machine is detected. The switchover unit is designed to short-circuit the six phase terminals of the electrical machine asynchronously in accordance with a predefined pattern.

An electrical drive machine for a vehicle includes a brake apparatus and a gear-selection apparatus, such that the electrical machine is designed as a current-powered synchronous machine. The vehicle includes a control unit which is associated with the current-powered synchronous machine, wherein the control unit sets a field current of the rotor based on a gear-selection position set at the gear-selection apparatus and based on a position of a brake pedal of the brake apparatus.
