The present technology relates to the field of aircraft construction, and more specifically to vertical take-off and landing aircraft. The aircraft includes a bearing frame of a spatial structure, a seat, controls, moto-units, a control system, and a remote control system. The bearing frame is designed with a central portion and with at least two peripheral clusters. The central portion and the peripheral clusters of the frame are designed as a spatial structure. Each peripheral cluster is designed as a truss structure of at least three segments of the same type, which are interconnected. Inside each segment there is a moto-unit, which has at least one motor and at least one horizontal-rotation propeller.

Vertical take-off and landing aircraft

There is disclosed a multicopter vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft. The aircraft comprises am airframe with spatial design, a pilot seat, a cockpit, controls, engine units, engine compartment, control system, remote control system. The airframe consists of a central section and, at least, two peripheral sections, wherein peripheral sections can be folded up or down, or be retracted under the central section. The central section and peripheral sections of the airframe have spatial design. Each of the peripheral sections comprises at least three standard engine compartments which are connected to each other. Inside each engine compartment there is an engine unit which comprises at least one engine and at least one horizontally rotating propeller together with the control hardware. Each engine unit is an autonomous member of the distributed control system (DCS).

A loop around system and method for use in a telephone line monitors line conditions to detect the initiation of loop testing and automatically bypasses an electronic device, such as a DSL line conditioner, used in the line to prevent the electronic device from being inadvertently detected by the testing system as a line fault. The system additionally shuts down power to itself from the line so that it does not interfere with testing, while continuing to monitor the line during testing to detect conditions that characterize the termination of testing, and then automatically switches the electronic device back into the line upon the conclusion of testing. The system and method may be employed unattended at intermediate locations in the line remote from the CO or the CPE.
