One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for improvements to a work vehicle that utilizes an implement that may be partially obscured from operator view during use. A camera array can be mounted to the vehicle to generate image data for the working environment of the implement and target object of the implement. Further, a gaze direction and position for the vehicle operator can be detected using a second camera array. The implement image data and operator image data can be combined to generate an augmented image for display in the line of sight of the operator. The augmented image comprises computer generated representations of the implement where it is obscured from view, along with the target object. In this way, the operator can effectively interact with the target object, even though the implement and object may be out of direct sight of the operator.

Visibility of work implement using augmented reality

A virtual guidance apparatus and method assist an operator to maneuver a loader of a work vehicle for material handling of a workpiece. The virtual guidance apparatus includes a guidance control unit, one or more camera devices mounted on the associated work vehicle and operable to obtain an image of a loader of the associated work vehicle, and a display unit operatively coupled with the guidance control unit and displaying on a screen of the display unit that is viewable from an operator's seat of the associated work vehicle visual aids for guiding the operator in operating the loader to position a boom relative to level ground, to position a tool carrier on an end of the boom, to show a preview of a path of the tool carrier and of tools attached with the tool carrier, and to assist in positioning the workpiece load to be manipulated.

A hybrid bucket assembly for a work vehicle having movable loader arms includes a structural skeleton having a frame, one or more support struts mounted to the frame, and one or more brackets coupled to the support struts configured to interface with a carrier at distal ends of the loader arms. A bucket shell is mounted to the skeleton that defines a carry volume for materials. Force loading on the bucket shell is carried by the skeleton through the struts.

Front loaders typically have interchangeable implements that require an operator to drive toward a desired implement and to attempt to align the implement attachment points with the attachment points on an implement mount that is attached to the loader. This is made more difficult because the operator's view of the various attachment points (catch hook and support pins, rods, links) of the implement and the implement mount is often blocked by the front loader arms (booms) or other front loader components, thus, aligning the implement and the implement can be very difficult. A remote angular position display system and method are disclosed. The angular position of a work implement of a work vehicle is displayed (e.g., textually, numerically or graphically) on a display associated with a portable device. The angular position is observed by a sensor coupled to the work implement or the work vehicle. The method includes receiving, by a processor of the portable device, one or more signals from the sensor indicative of an angular position value, and determining, by the processor, a condition associated with the work implement based on the angular position. The method includes outputting, by the processor, an interface for rendering on the display associated with the portable device that indicates the angular position and the determined condition associated with the work implement of the work vehicle.

A rollback control system and method are disclosed for a loader having a bucket movable between first and second positions by one or more hydraulic cylinders of a hydraulic circuit. The rollback control system includes a source of vehicle conditions data that indicates one or more observable conditions associated with the work vehicle. The rollback control system includes at least one controller that receives and processes the vehicle conditions data to determine a position of the bucket relative to a material. The at least one controller outputs one or more control signals to direct flow of hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic cylinders to move the bucket to the second position based on the determined position of the bucket.

A loader includes a tool carrier arranged on a loader boom. The tool carrier is connected at a first pivot point to the loader boom and at a second pivot point to a pivot linkage. The pivot linkage has first and second links which are pivotably connected to one another at a first link point. The first link is pivotably connected at a second link point to the loader boom, and the second link is pivotably connected at a second link point at the second pivot point to the tool carrier. A sensor senses a pivot angle between the tool carrier and loader boom. The sensor is positioned in a cavity on the loader. An actuating device is connected to the sensor.

A parking stand for a detachable front loader assembly including a support leg pivoted to a boom, which is able to pivot between an extended and a retracted position. A set of parallel struts engage a locking plate, which is attached to the support leg. Being engaged within locking mechanism divots, the support leg is secured within an optimally extended position. Extending the parking stand support leg into a parking configuration is achieved by way of a series of semi-automated actions that are triggered and propelled by way of hydraulic movement of a loader's boom and bucket. Such semi-automated actions include unlocking, extending, and securing the support leg. Retraction of the support leg is similarly executed.
