In one implementation, a processing device receives one or more images captured in relation to a device, processes the one or more images to determine a presence of one or more identifiers within the one or more images, based on a determination that an identifier is present within the one or more images, processes the identifier in relation to an information repository to determine a permission status with respect to the identifier; identifies an instruction protocol associated with the device, generates an instruction corresponding to the permission status and the instruction protocol, and provides the instruction to the device.

Cloud-based ANPR management

A building radar-camera system includes a camera configured to capture one or images, the one or more images including first locations within the one or more images of one or more points on a world-plane and a radar system configured to capture radar data indicating second locations on the world-plane of the one or more points. The system includes one or more processing circuits configured to receive a correspondence between the first locations and the second locations of the one or more points, generate a sphere-to-plane homography, the sphere-to-plane homography translating between points captured by the camera modeled on a unit-sphere and the world-plane based on the correspondence between the first locations and the second locations, and translate one or more additional points captured by the camera or captured by the radar system between the unit-sphere and the world-plane based on the sphere-to-plane homography.

Systems and methods are disclosed for dynamic image capture and processing. In one implementation, a processing device receives a first video stream, the first video stream being captured via an optical sensor configured with a first set of capture parameters. The processing device processes the first video stream with a first set of processing parameters. The processing device receives a second video stream, the second video stream being captured via the optical sensor configured with a second set of capture parameters. The processing device processes the second video stream with a second set of processing parameters. The processing device provides an output based on at least one of (a) the first video stream, as processed, or (b) the second video stream, as processed.

A method and apparatus for the investigation of an object or an event in a video clip, by playing video clips of the object or objects associated with the events. The video frames comprised within the video clips comprise information regarding the creation time and coordinates of the objects appearing in multiple frames, thus enabling an operator to immediately play video clips tracking the object starting at the object's creation time within the field of view, until its disappearance from the field of view. By defining neighboring regions, and keeping the creation time of each object within each video stream, an object is tracked between different fields of view.

Apparatus and methods for the semi-automatic tracking and examining of an object or an event in a monitored site

A method for verifying the authenticity and integrity of an ordered sequence of digital video frames, without having access to the original recording, by embedding therein a respective series of digital signatures based on a secret key, or keys, and on the video content of respective frames. Signatures are camouflaged by embedding in transform coefficients of a transformed representation of the video data in parts of the frame corresponding to motion. If there is sufficient motion to contain all of the signature bits, a supplementary technique embeds in high-texture areas of a frame. A final fall-back is to embed in a pre-defined default zone. A method of predicting when supplementary embedding is needed enables the process to be applied in a single pass allowing real-time operation. Verification is done during decoding by comparing, for identity, embedded signatures with signatures calculated anew using the method employed to embed.

Device, system and method for encoding employing redundancy and switching are provided. For example, an encoder to convert analog data received from one or more video cameras into digital data for recording and possibly for live-monitoring is provided. The encoder may include an analog-to-digital converter and a redundancy unit capable of switching the analog data to a second encoder upon detecting a failure. The encoder may further include an internal matrix switcher to output the analog video data to a plurality of monitors for live monitoring.
