A system for effecting ischemic necrosis in a foreskin of a penis includes an inner ring having an inner surface comprising an inner diameter and an outer surface comprising an outer diameter and at least one circumferential groove; and an outer ring configured to substantially fit around the circumferential groove of the inner ring, wherein the inner ring is configured to fit to a portion of a glans of the penis that lies between an inner surface of the foreskin and the glans of the penis and the at least one outer ring is configured to fit an outer surface of the foreskin, the inner ring and the outer ring thereby compressing the foreskin in the circumferential groove with a compression force, and wherein the compression force is sufficient to effect ischemic necrosis in the foreskin.

Method and system for circumcision

The present disclosure provides a support element () for use in effecting ischemic necrosis in a foreskin of a penis, being a closed-loop member defining an opening dimensioned to permit a penis glans to pass therethrough and having an inner surface and an outer surface; the outer surface comprising a circumferential support () for an elastic ring () to be mounted thereon, said circumferential support being formed within a groove () in at least part of the outer surface; at least one first segment of the outer surface having an outer curvature of a radius larger than that of its flanking second segments. Also provided herein is a system () for effecting ischemic necrosis in a foreskin of a penis, comprising the support element () and elastic ring (), and optionally a deployment element () for mounting the elastic ring over the foreskin and support element.

Support element for circumcision and system comprising the same

System () for effecting ischemic necrosis in a foreskin of a penis, including a rigid ring (), at least one elastic ring () and at least one circumferential groove (), the rigid ring including an inner surface, the inner surface including an inner diameter, and an outer surface, the outer surface including an outer diameter, the elastic ring being configured to substantially fit around a surface of the rigid ring, the circumferential groove being located on a surface of at least one of the rigid ring and the elastic ring, wherein the inner diameter of the rigid ring is at least slightly larger than a diameter of a shaft of the penis, wherein a diameter of the elastic ring in a relaxed state is at least substantially equal to the diameter of the shaft of the penis, wherein the rigid ring is placed around a first surface of the foreskin, wherein the elastic ring is placed around a second surface of the foreskin, the foreskin being placed within the circumferential groove, the rigid ring and the elastic ring thereby compressing the foreskin in the circumferential groove with a compression force, and wherein the compression force is sufficient to effect ischemic necrosis in the foreskin.

Circumcision device and method for mass circumcision

Device for removing prostate tissue from within the urethra, the device including a plurality of arms, and an actuating mechanism coupled to the arms, the arms being rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the urethra, the arms being divided into arm pairs, each of the arm pair being apart from each other in a first configuration and attempting to get closer to each other, in a second configuration, wherein the device is inserted in the urethra toward the prostate, in the first configuration, and wherein after the device is placed adjacent to the prostate, within the urethra, the actuating mechanism moves the arms to the second configuration, thereby pinching the prostate through the urethra.
