The present invention provides a spray method and spray apparatus for bentonite-based material that allow forming a bentonite layer of high dry density. A spray apparatuscomprises a supersonic nozzle, to which a compressorand a bentonite containerare connected. The supersonic nozzleis fed compressed air from the compressorand a bentonite-based material from the bentonite container. The compressed air, mixed with the bentonite-based material, is accelerated to supersonic speed when passing through a constriction portionof the supersonic nozzle, and is sprayed at supersonic speed out of a jet orifice

Method of spray application, and spray apparatus, for bentonite material

A cover for an air bag device that enables an emblem to be secured to the cover in an extremely simple manner. The cover (module cover) has a recess for receiving the emblem. An extension of the emblem is extended through a hole in the cover. A distal end of the extension is bent along a rear side of the cover. A rib is pressed and welded by a thermal or ultrasonic welding element to form a welding body. The welding body covers the distal end of the extension.

The apparatus includes a seat cushion that includes a seat pad, and an air belt disposed under the seat pad. The apparatus includes a buckle and a lap anchor. The rear end on the right and the left of the air belt are connected to the buckle and the lap anchor via a wire respectively. Upon collision, the air belt is inflated and the front portion of the seat pad is pushed up so that a submarine phenomenon is prevented and the buckle and the lap anchor are pulled down.

Passenger protecting apparatus

A passenger protecting apparatus that includes an air belt configured to inflate along a back surface of a seat back to provide protection to the lower body a passenger sitting behind the seat. The apparatus includes a buckle and a lap anchor. The rear end on the right and the left of the air belt are connected to the buckle and the lap anchor via a wire respectively. Upon collision, the air belt is inflated and the buckle and the lap anchor are pulled down to thereby pretension the seat belt.

A lightweight air bag apparatus which facilitates the positioning between an instrument panel and a lid, and to provide an air bag apparatus in which the lid is not attached to a retainer in substance. The air bag apparatus includes a retainer, an air bag which is folded and stored in the retainer, a lid which covers the open surface of the retainer, and an inflator (gas generator) for expanding the air bag. The external surfaces of the retainer are surrounded by belts, and both ends of the belts are fixed to the leg portions and with rivets, bolts, or other fittings. The peripheral portion around an opening formed in the instrument panel is clamped between the edge portion of the lid and the extending portions. The belts are not connected to the retainer.

Air bag apparatus

A protection bag for an automobile includes an introducing chamber extending along an upper side of the bag, and a plurality of small chambers disposed parallel to each other at a lower side of the introducing chamber. Some of the small chambers have a spiral shape. Gas inlet of the spiral small chamber faces a pass through port. The length of a gas flowing path of the small chamber is greater than the width of the small chamber. The protection bag can avoid outflow of gas from the small chambers and sufficiently absorb the impact on the passenger's head.
