A display apparatus for a vehicle includes: a shooting element for shooting a predetermined area around the vehicle to obtain a shot image around the vehicle; an image conversion element for converting coordinates of the shot image to generate a mirror conversion image, wherein the mirror conversion image provides a first image of a first area around the vehicle reflected on an in-vehicle mirror, the first image being viewed from a passenger of the vehicle, and wherein the passenger sits down on a predetermined seat of the vehicle; and a display element for displaying the mirror conversion image.

Display apparatus for vehicle

A unitized wiring portion (wiring unit) has a hard pipe member, a wire provided in the pipe member, and outside wiring connectors connected at each end of the wire. A plurality of wiring units are prepared in advance wherein wiring units are divided into multiple groups having different length of wires and so on. The wiring units are arranged in a structure (e.g. a vehicle body) and the outside wiring connectors are connected to each other to form a wiring network. The wiring units are fixed to frame and/or reinforcing members to thereby increase mechanical strength of the structure.

Wiring method and wiring system for structures

A unitized wiring portion (wiring unit) has a hard pipe member, a wire provided in the pipe member, and outside wiring connectors connected at each end of the wire. A plurality of wiring units are prepared in advance, wherein wiring units are divided into multiple groups having different length of wires and so on. The wiring units are arranged in a structure (e.g. a vehicle body) and the outside wiring connectors are connected to each other to form a wiring network. In an intersection information provision system, multiple cameras are installed oriented towards the direction where each road extends from the intersection. Each camera captures as an image or video the state ranging from the intersection to each road. Therefore, the area of the captured image by each camera is narrowed down. When this captured image is displayed in a display unit of a navigation apparatus in a vehicle, the driver of the vehicle can perform safety check easily. Furthermore, according to the traveling direction of the vehicle at the intersection, a display pattern of several captured images to be displayed is determined. According to the determined display pattern, multiple captured images are displayed in order. Therefore, image information required to pass through the intersection safely can be offered without shortage to the driver of the vehicle.

Intersection information provision system and driving assist system

A vehicle periphery display control system displays peripheral images of a vehicle which are captured by a plurality of cameras mounted on the vehicle in respective different positions thereon. A storage medium stores road configuration information of a road. A positioning unit identifies the present position of the vehicle on the road. A image switching decision unit selects either one of images captured by the cameras based on specific road configuration information of a peripheral area around the vehicle, which includes the present position identified by the present position identifying unit, of the road configuration information stored in the storage medium. The image switching decision unit controls a display unit to display the image selected by the selecting unit.

Vehicle periphery display control system

A navigation apparatus is detachably installed to a vehicle and is lockable to implement activation lock of the navigation apparatus. The navigation apparatus stores all of manufacturer serial numbers of wireless IC tags and an ID code. Each IC tag stores the ID code and is attached to a corresponding one of portable items, such as a driver's license, a cellular phone, a wallet and a commutation pass, which are generally used daily. In the navigation system, the manufacturer serial numbers are registered in such a manner that each of manufacturer serial numbers is linked with an icon of a corresponding one of the portable items. When the ID code of the IC tag, which is attached to the corresponding portable item carried by a vehicle occupant, is determined to be valid, the activation lock of the navigation apparatus is released.
