An embodiment includes: a cylindrical motor case surrounding a compression mechanism about an axis; a lower case closing an opening of the motor case, fitted to an inner circumferential face of the motor case, and defining an accommodation chamber between the motor case and the lower case where a refrigerant is introduced; a first O-ring provided about the axis at a facing portion where the motor case and the lower case fitted to each other face each other in a plane; and a second O-ring provided about the axis in the facing portion, the first O-ring is provided at a position closer to a starting point on the accommodation chamber side of the facing portion than the second O-ring, the first O-ring has better refrigerant resistance and/or oil resistance than the second O-ring, and the second O-ring has better sealing performance than the first O-ring at a temperature of −20° C. or lower.

Compressor

A housing structure for a device to be mounted on a vehicle is provided with which strength for withstanding a collision can be ensured. An electric compressor (), which is a device to be mounted on a vehicle, is equipped with a device main body (), and a cylindrical housing () provided in a vehicle and on the inside of which the device main body () is accommodated. A protruding portion () protruding radially outward is formed on a cylindrical part () constituting the housing (). A cross section of the protruding portion () orthogonal to an axial line (L) of the cylindrical part () presents an arc-like shape or a substantially arc-like shape protruding outward in the radial direction.

Vehicle-mounted device

The present invention comprises: a blank forming step in which a casing blank () is formed by die-casting, the casing blank () having a first cylindrical section (), a second cylindrical section (), and an annular section () which includes a recess () recessed toward one side in an axial direction (O) from a first surface () facing the other side in the axial direction (O); and a cutting step in which the inner peripheral surface () of the second cylindrical section () and a second surface () of the annular section (), the second surface () facing the one side in the axial direction (O), are cut to connect the recess () to a compression section containing space (A) within the second cylindrical section (), thereby forming a flow passage. Method for manufacturing compressor casing, casing blank, and compressor casing

A motor rotor equipped with a cylindrical rotor core formed by stacking multiple electromagnetic steel plates, end plates and balance weights stacked at both ends of the rotor core, and multiple headed swaging pins penetrating and integrally connecting the rotor core, the end plates, and the balance weights, wherein spacers or washers formed of a harder material than the swaging pins are interposed between the seating surface of the balance weights and the heads of the swaging pins. Thus, resistance of the motor rotor to excessive excitation force can be increased and a decrease in fastening strength can easily be prevented without changing the structure integrally fastened together by the swaging pins.

A scroll compressor includes a flow path that is disposed in a portion of a bearing holder, which corresponds to each formation position of a plurality of stator groove portions, and that penetrates the bearing holder in an axial direction, a first recess portion () disposed in a portion of a thrust bearing, which faces the flow path, and recessed from one side in the axial direction to the other side in the axial direction, and a first groove portion () disposed in an outer peripheral portion of the first recess portion (), extending from a bottom surface () of the recess portion () to a surface located on a side opposite to a surface having the first recess portion () formed thereon, and communicating with the first recess portion () in the axial direction.

Scroll compressor

An inverter-integrated electric compressor according to the present invention is provided with an inverter case for forming an inverter-accommodating space for housing an inverter device, and an inverter cover configured to close an opening of the inverter-accommodating space. The inverter case is assembled with the inverter cover using a spigot joint, and when the inverter cover closes the opening of the inverter-accommodating space, an end-face-opposing face that opposes an end face of the inverter cover is formed. Such an inverter-integrated electric compressor may make it unlikely for the end face of the inverter cover to be exposed to corrosive environments, and may suppress corrosion of the end face of the inverter cover.

Inverter-integrated electric compressor

Provided are: an oil separator with which oil-separation efficiency can be improved by reliably capturing oil once separated, and inhibiting the re-entrainment of the oil; and a compressor provided with the oil separator. This oil separator () is provided with a cylindrical separation cylinder (), and is configured such that oil included in a gas flowing in from a gas inflow port () provided along an inner circumferential surface () of the separation cylinder () in a tangential direction is centrifugally separated, and the separated oil is discharged from one end side of the separation cylinder (), while the gas is discharged from another end side of the separation cylinder (). The oil separator () has, provided to the inner circumferential surface () of the separation cylinder () therein, an opening () which communicates with the gas inflow port (), and a plurality of oil-capturing openings () which protrude toward and are open at an inner circumferential side. Furthermore, in the oil separator (), a cylindrical body () is fitted which has, provided to an outer circumferential surface side thereof, a plurality of oil passages () which communicate with the oil-capturing openings ().

In this inverter integrated type electric compressor, an inverter device is installed so as to be accommodated in an inverter housing portion and the inverter housing portion forms an airtight structure by tightly securing a cover piece to the inverter housing portion by means of a liquid gasket, a through-hole for ventilation and pressure testing, which penetrates into an internal space of the inverter housing portion, is provided at an outer wall of the cover piece, and a sealing means for sealing the through-hole is provided.

Disclosed is an in-vehicle integrated-inverter electric compressor () in which an inverter accommodating section () is provided on the periphery of a housing (), an inverter device is installed in the inverter accommodating section (), and the opening portion of the inverter accommodating section () is sealed by means of a cover member () to be fixed with screws. A safety mechanism () is provided such that some of the fixing screws () fixing the cover member () to the inverter accommodating section () cannot be removed when the electric compressor () is mounted in a vehicle.
