A top sheet includes a skin contact surface configured to contact the skin of a wearer. The skin contact surface includes at least one projection and at least one recess. The top sheet further includes a back surface opposite the skin contact surface. The top sheet further includes a coating on the at least one projection. The coating essentially includes a blood slipping agent having a kinematic viscosity of 0.01 to 80 mm/s at 40&#xb0; C., a water holding percentage of 0.01 to 4.0 mass %, and a weight-average molecular weight of less than 1,000, and the coating is configured to slip from the skin contact surface, through the top sheet, to the back surface along with menstrual blood.

Absorbent article

An absorbent article includes a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and an absorbent body between the liquid-permeable top sheet and liquid-impermeable back sheet. The liquid-permeable top sheet includes a blood modifying agent with an IOB of 0.00-0.60, a melting point of no higher than 45&#xb0; C., a water solubility of 0.00-0.05 g in 100 g of water at 25&#xb0; C., and a weight-average molecular weight of no greater than 1,000.

An object of the present disclosure is to provide an absorbent article without a sticky feel on the top sheet and with a smooth top sheet, not only when a large amount of menstrual blood has been absorbed, but even when a small amount of menstrual blood has been absorbed. The absorbent article of the present disclosure is as follows. An absorbent article comprising a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet and an absorbent body between the liquid-permeable top sheet and liquid-impermeable back sheet, wherein the liquid-permeable top sheet comprises a blood slipping agent having a kinematic viscosity of 0.01 to 80 mm/s at 40&#xb0; C., a water holding percentage of 0.01 to 4.0 mass %, and a weight-average molecular weight of less than 1,000, on at least the projection in an excretory opening contact region.

The present invention addresses the problem of providing an absorbent article that has an improved ability to transfer menstrual blood from a liquid-permeable layer to an absorbent body and can reduce the amount of the menstrual blood remaining in the liquid-permeable layer. To solve this problem, provided is a sanitary napkin provided with a top sheet, a back sheet and an absorbent body that is interposed between the top sheet and the back sheet, wherein convex portions formed in an excretion orifice contact region of the top sheet are coated with a blood lubricity-imparting agent that has a kinetic viscosity of 0.01-80 mm/s at 40&#xb0; C., a water retention rate of 0.01-4.0 mass % and a weight-average molecular weight of less than 1,000.

An absorbent article includes a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and an absorbent body between the liquid-permeable top sheet and liquid-impermeable back sheet. The top sheet exhibits a color difference in a range of 37-80, based on the L*a*b* color system and measured from a skin contact surface of the top sheet in a liquid dropping test. Further, the top sheet has a color-reducing agent having an IOB of 0.00-0.35, a melting point of no higher than 45&#xb0; C. and a water solubility of 0.00-0.05 g in 100 g of water at 25&#xb0; C. The absorbent article is configured to allow a user to visually confirm reduction in residue of highly viscous menstrual blood on the top sheet after its absorption, thereby providing reassurance to the user.

A water content detection sensor includes a circuit member in which low resistance conductors disposed in parallel to each other and a high resistance conductor connecting end portions of the respective low resistance conductors, a carrier body having a water-proof property and an insulating property, and a coating body having a water-proof property and an insulating property, the circuit portion being disposed between the carrier body and the coating body. A plurality of exposure holes is provided which expose the low resistance conductors at plural portions. When water content adheres between the exposure holes and the low resistance conductors are then short-circuited and a current value is made larger than that before the adhesion of the water content. When a small current passes, it is judged that the circuit is normal, and on the other hand, a large current passes, it is judged that water is generated.

Water content detection sensor

A urine suction device improved to achieve quick urine which includes a urine receiver unit and a urine detector unit. The urine detector unit includes a pair of electrode assemblies adapted to output a detection signal as soon as it is wetted with urine. The pair of electrode assemblies is sandwiched between a liquid-pervious first sheet and a liquid-pervious second sheet. The first and second sheets are put flat and joined together along joint zones provided outside respective pairs of opposite side edges of the electrode assemblies. Along the respective joint zones, at least one of the first and second sheets has its thickness locally reduced and the first and second sheets are kept in close contact with each other along the joint zones and in the vicinity of the joint zones.

Urine suction device

In the excrement treating apparatus, the excretion sensor's sensitivity is stabilized and urination is accurately detected and treated.

Excrement treating apparatus

An absorptive article in which a terminal section of a sensor is less likely to be damaged in production, packaging, and transportation. An output terminal () of a sensor member () is placed at a side end of a front edge () of a urine pad (). The side end of the front edge () is constructed only from a front face sheet () and a rear face sheet (). The front face sheet () and the rear face sheet () are not joined together and are separably arranged. When the urine pad () is not in use, the output terminal () is covered by the front face sheet () and the rear face sheet (). In use, the front face sheet () and the rear face sheet () are separated in the thickness direction and the output terminal () of the sensor member () is exposed.

Absorptive article

Here is disclosed a urine receiver. The urine receiver which collects urine of a wearer of the urine receiver under suction force has a container member provided with a bottom, a peripheral wall and flange. The container member has a suction tube which extends through the peripheral wall and has a urine suction port opening toward the interior of the container member and a urine evacuation port opening toward the exterior of the container member. The evacuation port is adapted to be connected to a connector of a urine suction means provided externally of the container member.

Urine receiver

A water content detection sensor includes a circuit member in which low resistance conductorsdisposed in parallel to each other and a high resistance conductorconnecting end portions of the respective low resistance conductors, a carrier bodyhaving a water-proof property and an insulating property, and a coating bodyhaving a water-proof property and an insulating property, the circuit portion being disposed between the carrier body and the coating body. A plurality of exposure holesare formed to the carrier body or the coating body so as to expose the low resistance conductors at plural portions, and when water content adheres between the exposure holes and the low resistance conductors are then short-circuited in a current conduction state, a current value is made larger than that before the adhesion of the water content. When a small current passes, it is judged that the circuit is normal, and on the other hand, a large current passes, it is judged that water is generated.

Water content detection sensor system

An excrement detection sensor in which two pairs of conductorsandare formed between a carrier bodyand a coating bodyboth having water-proof property and insulating property, wherein the cover body is formed with an urine introduction portcorrelating the paired conductors and with a faeces introduction portcorrelating the other paired conductors, and when urine enters into the urine introduction ports, the one pair of the conductors are short-circuited and when faeces enters into the faeces introduction ports, the other one pair of the conductors are short-circuited, whereby the urination and the evacuation can be distinctively detected.

Excrement detection sensor

In a urine receptacle of an automatic urine disposal device, a urine backflow prevention sheet, with no water permeability, having funnel-shaped pores, is placed between a top sheet and a urine absorbing sheet. A pair of rectangular electrodes, constituting a urine detection sensor, is glued onto an electrode support sheet and is placed between the top sheet and the urine backflow prevention sheet. A plurality of funnel-shaped pores is formed on the urine backflow prevention sheet.
