A syringe (B) comprises: a syringe body (C) including a plunger () to be operated for injection of a drug solution; a cylindrical needle cover (B) housing an injection needle (A); and a spring () held in a compressed state by the needle cover (B). The needle cover (B) has seats (A) and (B) in a pair that abut on corresponding opposite ends of the spring () to restrict the position of the spring (). Pushing in the plunger () further after injection deforms the seat (A) to release restriction on the spring (). The spring () free from the restriction abuts on the syringe body (C). This biases the needle cover (B) to move the needle cover (B) to a position where the injection needle (A) is housed.

Syringe

A prefilled syringe of a before-use mixing type not requiring a bypass portion defined by a recessed inner surface portion of an outer cylinder, including first and second gaskets () fitted in the outer cylinder (), and non-rotatively and complementarily shaped engagement portions () respectively at a front end of the first gasket () and a rear end of the second gasket () to reduce the period for transferring a liquid between two chambers separated by the gaskets. During storage, the engagement portions abut each other to be kept out of engagement with each other, whereby a drug containing space is defined between the gaskets. When a liquid is transferred from a space defined on a rear side of the first gasket () to the drug containing space, the internal pressure of the drug containing space is prevented from being excessively increased.

Pre-use mixing pre-filled syringe

In a prefilled syringe including an elastic seal member to be pierced with a needle for use to eject a protein pharmaceutical preparation therefrom, the elastic seal member ensures smooth and reliable piercing thereof with the needle while reliably preventing an active substance of the protein pharmaceutical preparation from being adsorbed thereon. When a protective film () is laminated to a top surface of a seal body () of an elastic material, the protective film () is stretched to a greater extent by a recess () provided in the top surface. Further, the piercing portion to be pierced with the needle is provided in a bottom of the recess (). Thus, the protective film () is formed as locally having a smaller thickness in the piercing portion.

Injector

The invention provides a cartridge-type injection needle and injector. The injection needle cartridge has a substantially columnar retaining member for retaining the injection needle penetrating therethrough and a pair of holder members forming a containing space for containing the retaining member. The paired holding members are formed by a first holder member having a first bottom plate and a first slider section and a second holder member having a second bottom plate facing to the first bottom plate and a second slider section. The containing space is axially extendable and retractable in the state in which the slider sections are alternately displaced along the outer periphery of the retaining member and is not axially retractable in the state in which the extreme end faces of the slider sections face to each other.

Injection needle cartridge and injector

A guiding device for a front seat belt for a vehicle having a cross member formed at a rear seat side on an automotive floor and a floor tunnel, which has a retractor for the front seat belt, fixedly secured into an opening formed at the cross member, a boot fixedly secured to the side of the floor tunnel between the front side of the rear seat and the rear side of the front seat for guiding the floor seat belt drawn from the retractor, and a floor carpet arranged to cover the boot and formed with a belt passage hole, from which the seat belt is drawn to the front seat side through a belt outlet formed at the boot. Thus, the front seat belt is not exposed in an occupant's leg preserving portion of a rear seat to prevent the front seat belt from disturbing the occupant's legs at the rear seat and to simultaneously prevent the front seat belt from being contaminated with preferable external appearance and smooth extension and retraction of the front seat belt.

Guiding device for front seat belts

A steering assembly supporting device comprising a steering assembly supporting body spaced from and extending in parallel to the cowl inner panel. The steering assembly supporting body comprises a hollow tubular portion and a hollow expanding portion having a cross-sectional area which is larger than that of the hollow tubular portion. The inner ends of the hollow tubular portion and the hollow extending portion are interconnected to each other. The other ends of the hollow tubular portion and the hollow expanding portion are fixed onto the corresponding cowl side panels. The steering assembly is supported by the hollow expanding portion.

Steering assembly supporting device of a motor vehicle

A passive seatbelt system of the type including a guide rail, a truck guided on the guide rail, a seatbelt coupled to the truck and a driving means for causing the truck to move. In the seatbelt system, the guide rail is provided on a vehicle-interior side of a roof side member of a vehicle body in between the roof side member and a headliner of the vehicle such that a slit exists between the roof side member and the headliner through which a portion of the truck projects.

Passive seatbelt system

A raised arm structure protruding inwardly on a vehicle door has a longitudinally extending slit through the undersurface thereof, and through the slit, a movable belt guide within the arm structure slidably holds an intermediate portion of an occupant restraining webbing from within the arm structure, whereby a part of the webbing held by the movable belt guide is out of sight from above and under the arm structure.

The webbing slider lock mechanism according to the present invention comprises: a slider movably received in a sliding groove of a guide rail laid in a vehicle and connected to an end of an occupant restraining webbing; a driving member movably received in a driving groove of the guide rail and connected to the slider in a manner to be movable by a given length relative to the slider in a direction of travel of the slider; a release arm disposed in a manner to be projectable into the driving groove at the side of a retracting end portion of the guide rail in a biased condition and adapted to abut against the side portion of the driving member to be pushed out of the driving groove; and a locking lever disposed below the position of the release arm at the side of retracting end portion of the guide rail in a manner to be projectable to lock the slider and connected to the release arm in a manner to be retractable from the sliding groove.

Webbing slider lock mechanism

According to the present invention, in a seatbelt system, in which an end of an occupant restraining webbing is connected to a slider and this slider travels along a guide rail laid on a vehicle body so as to cause the webbing to approach or recede from the body of an occupant, the slider includes: a head; a body suspended from a central portion in cross-section of the head and inserted through a driving tape; and a leg extended from the lower end of the body and secured with an anchor plate, to which the webbing is connected, and the guide rail includes: a substantially letter `T` shaped sliding groove consisting of a head groove portion for slidably guiding the head of slider and a body groove portion for slidably guiding the body of slider; and a tape groove perpendicularly intersecting the body groove portion of the sliding groove for receiving and guiding the driving tape.

One end of an occupant restraining webbing is secured to a slider, and driving means moves said slider in a guide groove formed in a guide rail, so that an occupant can be automatically brought into a webbing fastened state. The slider, being provided at the head thereof with a shoe, moves smoothly. Said shoe is adapted to be damaged under a predetermined value of load in an emergency of the vehicle, so that the head of slider can be pressed against said guide groove to prevent the slider from moving, thereby securing the occupant in the restrained state.

Emergency locking device

A passive seatbelt system wherein a webbing is connected to a webbing guide movably received in a guide rail laid in or on a vehicle and the webbing guide is moved by a thick wall tape to cause the webbing to approach or recede from the body of an occupant of the vehicle. A tape casing for receiving the tail end portion of the thick wall tape is provided at a position adjacent to driving means for driving the thick wall tape in a panel of the vehicle.

A passive seatbelt system for a vehicle including a tape having a plurality of holes formed therein at regular intervals, a passenger restraining seatbelt coupled at one end to the thick tape, a sprocket wheel which is engaged with the holes in the thick tape and a motor means which is coupled to a power source of the motor vehicle for driving the sprocket wheel. With such a system, the sprocket wheel causes the thick tape to move back and forth to thereby cause the seatbelt to move back and forth along the length of the vehicle. In this way, the seatbelt is automatically fastened or unfastened from the passenger.

In a hard top automobile body having a roof, and a rear quarter pillar, and a lower rear side portion, a reinforcing pillar, substantially separate from the rear quarter pillar. The reinforcing pillar is provided at a position shifted toward the front of the automobile from the rear quarter pillar, with its upper and lower ends attached to the side of the roof and the lower rear side portion, respectively. In this manner it divides the rear quarter opening into two, while allowing the rear quarter pillar to be reduced to a thinner structure so as to provide better rear side view for the driver without sacrificing the strength and rigidity of the automobile body.
