An object of the present invention is to provide a tone plate that can be increased in strength and that can produce the original sound of the material. A tone plateaccording to an aspect of the present invention includes: a surface layerhaving a striking surface; and a base layerthat is laminated directly or indirectly onto a face of the surface layeron the side opposite to the striking surface, wherein the surface layeris a layer of wood impregnated with resin, and the base layeris not impregnated with resin.

A vibration plate for a musical instrument includes: a plate-shaped vibration plate main body that has a deformation anisotropy property; a first elongated reinforcing member disposed on a first face of the vibration plate main body, and that projects outwardly from the first face and extends along the first face in a direction that prevents the vibration plate main body from deforming; and a second elongated reinforcing member disposed on a second face of the vibration plate main body, and that projects outwardly from the second face and extends along the second face in the direction that prevents the vibration plate main body from deforming. As viewed from a thickness direction of the vibration plate main body, at least part of the first elongated reinforcing member overlaps with at least part of the second elongated reinforcing member.

Vibration plate and musical instrument

A reaction force generation unit includes an opposing member and a pressed body, which includes a base and domes, including a first dome, a second dome, and a third dome, bulging from the base. A leading end of each dome faces an opposing surface of the opposing member. When the pressing member presses the base, the leading ends of the domes move in a direction relatively close to the opposing member, where the domes become elastically deformed and cause an appropriate reaction force with respect to the handle. In a natural state where the pressed body is not subjected to any pressing force, axes of the domes are substantially parallel to each other, and acute angles formed by the axes and a normal line of the opposing surface are substantially similar to each other at a predetermined angle larger than zero degree.

Reaction force generation unit

A keyboard includes a frame and a plurality of mass bodies. The mass bodies are arranged in parallel to each other. Each of the mass bodies is pivotally supported to pivot about a pivot fulcrum with respect to the frame. The mass bodies are at least one of a plurality of keys configured to be directly operated, a plurality of interlocking members configured to pivot in conjunction with a corresponding one of the plurality of keys, embedded members in the plurality of keys or embedded members in the plurality of interlocking members. At least some of the mass bodies include notched portions being arranged in order from a pitch, which is equal to or greater than a lowest pitch, to a highest pitch. The notched portions are different from each other in at least one of size, position, or distance from the pivot fulcrum.

Reaction force generator and keyboard device of electronic musical instrument

A to-be-depressed member includes an elastic dome. A sectional shape of the dome orthogonal to an axis line (X) of the dome is line-symmetric about a symmetry axis (Ax). The dome has a three-dimensional shape that is symmetric with respect to a virtual plane (Sx) containing the symmetry axis and the axis line. A keyboard apparatus includes: a key; a frame; and a connecting portion configured to connect the key and the frame to each other. The connecting portion includes a flexible member having a rod shape and having flexibility that enables the key to pivot with respect to the frame.
