An in-vehicle apparatus is provided which is installed in a vehicle including a power supply. The apparatus includes at least one drive circuit that is driven by DC voltage supplied from the power supply, and a positive electrode side line that electrically connects a positive electrode terminal of the power supply and a high-electric potential side electrical path of the drive circuit. A negative electrode terminal of the power supply and a low-electric potential side electrical path of the drive circuit are electrically connected to a body ground of the vehicle. The apparatus includes an auxiliary line that has a first end electrically connected to the positive electrode terminal or the negative electrode terminal and a second end connected to the high-electric potential side electrical path or the body ground, and that is arranged along the positive electrode side line or the body ground.

In-vehicle apparatus

A wearable control terminal for allowing a user to control a target object includes a contact detector, an impact detector, a motion detector, and a transmitter. The contact detector is mounted on a surface of a first portion of a user's body to detect whether the first portion is in contact with or separated from a second portion of the body based on whether a closed loop conducting path is formed with the first portion and the second portion. The impact detector detects an impact on the control terminal. The motion detector detects a motion of the user based on the results of detection by the contact detector and the impact detector. The transmitter transmits a control signal to the target object according to the detected motion.

Control terminal

An instrument operation apparatus includes a tag reader and a manipulating device. According to a user's manipulation to the manipulating device, the instrument operation apparatus transmits a command signal to one of instruments to operate. The manipulating device includes a detection portion to detect the user's manipulation, and a device information transmission portion to transmit device information according to the manipulation detected by the detection portion using a wireless communications technology. The tag reader includes a reception portion to receive the device information a control circuit to determine a command signal according to the device information received via the reception portion, and a command signal transmission portion to transmit the command signal to the one of the instruments. The instrument operating apparatus is characterized in that an arrangement position at which the manipulating device is arranged or attached is enabled to be changed.

In-vehicle instrument operating apparatus

A wearable input device includes a pair of ring-shaped signal electrodes and a current sensor arranged in parallel in the direction of the axis of a finger. The current sensor is provided outside an area sandwiched between the signal electrodes. An alternating current signal is applied between the signal electrodes. When the top end of the finger with this device worn thereon is brought into contact with any other body site, a current flows through the current measure point of the current sensor. When the top end of the finger is not in contact with any other body site, no current flows through the measurement point of the current sensor. Based on the measured current, it is determined whether the finger is in contact with any other body site. A command is outputted to an external device according to the result of the determination.

Wearable electrical apparatus

A user can wear a transmitter module on a finger. The transmitter module transmits an electric signal through a finger. An electronic device includes a touch panel as an input device and a conductive film. The conductive film is a part of a receiver module which receives the electric signal when the body part is approached to the conductive film. The control unit provides a performing module which selectively performs one function among the functions according to the detection result of the receiver module. A first function is performed when the user approaches a finger wearing the transmitter module. A second function is performed when the user approaches another finger not wearing the transmitter module.

Apparatus with selectable functions

An information device operation apparatus includes an image capturing device, an illumination device, a controller, image storage device, operation object extracting device, detection device, and signal output device. The image storage device stores a plurality of images that are acquired by the image capturing device under a plurality of illumination intensity conditions. The operation object extracting device extracts the operation object by comparing the plurality of images. The detection device detects at least one of a predetermined shape and a movement of the operation object that is extracted by the operation object extracting device. The signal output device outputs a signal to the target device, the signal corresponding to the at least one of the predetermined shape and the movement of the operation object detected by the detection device.

A noise cancellation system with improved performance for canceling from an input signal of a microphone a noise component relating to reproduced sound of an audio system reproducing multiple channels of sound, provided with an audio canceller for acquiring audio signals of two channels and processing them by filter coefficients by convolutional processing so as to produce noise cancellation signals at adaptive filters, an adder for adding the input signal of the microphone and the noise cancellation signals, canceling the noise component from the input signal, and outputting the signal after noise cancellation, nonlinear converters for nonlinear conversion of the signal after noise cancellation, and filter learning units for calculating the filter coefficients to be set next based on the nonlinear converted signal.

Noise cancellation system, speech recognition system, and car navigation system

A signal processing circuit for removing a noise component from a detection signal of a yaw-rate sensor for detecting a yaw rate generated in a motor vehicle. The processing circuit detects the magnitude of variation of the detection signal of the yaw-rate sensor so as to compare the magnitude of the detection signal with a predetermined reference value. In accordance with the comparison result, the processing circuit outputs a limitation detection signal to limit the variation to below the predetermined reference value. Further, when the magnitude of variation of the detection signal exceeds the predetermined reference value, the processing circuit outputs as the limitation detection signal the yaw rate detection signal immediately before the exceeding, and the predetermined reference value is corrected on the basis of the steering angular velocity of the steering wheel of the motor vehicle. This arrangement allows effectively eliminating a spear-like noise from the detection signal of the yaw-rate sensor.

Signal processing circuit for yaw-rate sensor

Disclosed is an electronically controlled fuel injection system for controlling a fuel quantity to be injected each cylinder of a diesel engine by a fuel injection pump (5), wherein a positioning servo system is employed which is arranged to calculate a control input value of an actuator (82) in accordance with a signal from an actual position sensor (84) and a signal from a fuel quantity control unit (2) so that the actual position of a fuel adjustment member (83) is coincident with a desired position thereof indicated by the signal from the control unit (2). The servo system comprises a minimum time control unit (7) and a speed estimation unit (9). The minimum time control unit (7) derives the control input value from a map established on the basis of the nonlinear dynamic model of the actuator (82) as a function of a deviation between the actual and desired positions, a current passing through the actuator (82) and a speed of the fuel adjustment member estimated by the speed estimation unit (9).
