A metal tube () constituting a fluid flow path () is cut, and an attachment (A) for a fluid characteristic measurement sensor is interposed between end portions of the cut metal tubes (). The attachment (A) includes a body (A) through which a body flow path () extends through and to which a temperature sensor () and a pressure sensor () are attached in advance and a pair of connection members () that connect a fluid flow path () and the body flow path (). Joint fittings (A) are allowed to be used as a pair of connection members (). The attachment improves workabilitywhen measuring a characteristic of a fluid and reliably reducing a leakage of the fluid.
