Provided is a fluid flow control system, a well system, and a method. The fluid flow control system, in one aspect, includes a flow restrictor operable to receive production fluid having a pressure (P3) and discharge control fluid having a control pressure (P2), and a fluidic diode placed between the flow restrictor and the tubing, the fluidic diode configured to increase the control pressure (P2) to a higher control pressure (P2) when the fluidic diode encounters lower viscosity fluids and is configured to increase the control pressure (P2) to a lower control pressure (P2) when the fluidic diode encounters higher viscosity fluids. The fluid flow control system, in one aspect, further includes an inflow control device having a production fluid inlet, a control inlet operable to receive control fluid having the higher control pressure (P2) or the lower control pressure (P2), and a production fluid outlet.

Provided is an SSSV, a well system, and a method. The SSSV, in one aspect, includes two or more electromagnets fixedly coupled to a housing, a first of the two or more electromagnets having its north pole facing a first electromagnet direction and a second of the two or more electromagnets having is south pole facing first electromagnet direction. The SSSV, in accordance with this aspect, further includes two or more permanent magnets coupled to the flow tube, a first of the two or more permanent magnets having its south pole facing a first permanent magnet direction and a second of the two or more permanent magnets having its north pole facing the first permanent magnet direction, the two or more permanent magnets configured to axially move with a flow tube.

Disclosed embodiments relate to electric safety valves for a well, which may be configured to close in the event of a power loss for example. In embodiments, the electric safety valve may include an electro-magnetic tooth brake system. For example, a plurality of teeth may be coupled to a translating sleeve disposed within an outer housing, a pinion may be mounted within the outer housing and configured to mesh with the plurality of teeth, and an electric tooth brake may have brake teeth configured to engage the pinion upon activation of an electro-magnet. Thus, when the electro-magnet is powered and the teeth are engaged/meshing, the translating sleeve may be held in position to hold open the valve. A loss of power may disengage the teeth, releasing the translating sleeve and allowing the valve to close. Related methods and systems are also disclosed.

Provided is a fluid flow control system and a well system. The fluid flow control system, in one aspect, includes a valve having a fluid inlet operable to receive fluid, a control inlet operable to receive a control fluid, and a fluid outlet operable to pass the fluid to the tubing, the valve configured to open or close the fluid outlet based upon the control fluid. The fluid flow control system according to this aspect further includes a density control valve having an inlet conduit operable to receive the fluid and an outlet conduit coupled to the control inlet of the valve, the density control valve operable to send the control fluid to the valve to open or close the fluid outlet based upon a density of the fluid.

Provided is a multilateral junction and a well system. The multilateral junction, in one aspect, includes a housing, the housing including a first housing end and a second housing end, a bore extending through the housing from the first housing end to the second housing end, and a bore coupling profile located along an inside surface of the bore proximate the second housing end. The multilateral junction, according to this aspect, further includes a multilateral bore leg extending into the bore, the multilateral bore leg including a tubular having a first tubular end and a second tubular end, and a tubular coupling profile located along an outside surface of the tubular proximate the first tubular end. The multilateral junction, according to this aspect, further includes an arced coupling located between the bore and the tubular and engaged with the bore coupling profile and the tubular coupling profile.

Provided is a downhole tool and a well system. The downhole tool, in one aspect, includes a tubular providing one or more production fluid flow paths for a production fluid. The downhole tool, according to this aspect, further includes one or more float chambers located within the tubular, and two or more floats located within the one or more float chambers. In one aspect, a first of the two or more floats has a first density (ρ) between a density of gas (ρ) and a density of oil (ρ), and a second of the two or more floats has a second density (ρ) between the density of oil (ρ) and a density of water (ρ). The downhole tool, according to this aspect, further includes two or more non-contact proximity sensors configured to sense a radial location of the two or more floats to determine a gas:oil ratio and oil:water ratio.

A plurality of flow control nodes are spaced along a production conduit for controlling a flow of formation fluids into the production conduit at different locations in the well. Each flow control node defines a flow path for entry of the formation fluids into the production conduit. A closure is operable to adjust the flow of the formation fluids into the production conduit. A generator at each zone generates electrical power in response to a portion of the flow directed through the generator. An electrical power grid interconnects the plurality of flow control nodes to collectively supply electrical power to the power grid. Each closure and other device components are operable with the electrical power from the power grid.

A production sub, a well system, and a method are disclosed herein. The production sub, in one aspect, includes a tubular having a length (l), an inside ID, an OD, and a sidewall thickness (t), a plurality of production ports extending through the sidewall thickness (t) and coupling the inside diameter (ID) and the outside diameter (OD), and a fluid flow assembly positioned in each of the plurality of production ports. Each fluid flow assembly, in one aspect, includes a radially interior burst disc, a radially exterior burst disc, a sealing member positioned in a chamber created between the radially interior burst disc and the radially exterior burst disc, and a sealing member seat located in the chamber proximate the radially exterior burst disc, the sealing member configured to engage with the sealing member seat as fluid is pushing the sealing member radially outward.

An interventionless stimulation and production system includes a housing and a stimulation sleeve. The stimulation sleeve includes a first diverter seat, and a second diverter seat initially having a smaller diameter, where the first diverter seat is configured to permit a first diverter to pass through the first diverter seat and prevent a second diverter having a larger diameter from passing through the first diverter seat, the second diverter seat is initially configured to prevent the first diverter from passing through the second diverter seat, and landing the first diverter onto the second diverter seat shifts the stimulation sleeve from a first position to a second position to initiate a stimulation operation. The stimulation also includes a production sleeve that is initially in a closed position, where the production sleeve is configured to shift to an open position after the second diverter lands on the first diverter seat.

Provided is a multilateral junction and a well system. The multilateral junction, in one aspect, includes a housing, the housing including a first housing end and a second housing end, a bore extending through the housing from the first housing end to the second housing end, and a toothed coupling profile located along an inside surface of the bore proximate the second housing end. The multilateral junction, according to this aspect, further includes a multilateral bore leg extending into the bore, the multilateral bore leg including a tubular having a first tubular end and a second tubular end. The multilateral junction, according to this aspect, further includes a toothed coupling located between the bore and the tubular and engaged with the toothed coupling profile and the tubular to axially fix the housing and the multilateral bore leg relative to one another.

Provided is a float for use with a fluid flow control device, a fluid flow control device, a method for manufacturing a float, and a well system. The float, in one aspect, includes a fluid tight enclosure. The float, according to this aspect, further includes density specific material located within the fluid tight enclosure, the fluid tight enclosure and the density specific material creating a net density for the float that is between a first density of a desired fluid and a second density of an undesired fluid, such that the float may control fluid flow through a flow control device when encountering the desired fluid or the undesired fluid.

An assembly comprises a tubular housing having a bore therethrough and at least one stimulation port therein to communicate fluid from the bore to outside the tubular housing and a sleeve axially movable in the tubular housing. The sleeve comprises a first baffle and a second baffle. The sleeve is initially in a first closed position, wherein the sleeve is to axially move from the first closed position to an open position in response to the first baffle receiving a first object therein, wherein the at least one stimulation port is open in the open position. The sleeve is to axially move from the open position to a second closed position in response to the second baffle receiving a second object received therein, wherein the second object is larger than the first object, where the at least one stimulation port is closed in the second closed position.

A system includes a tool mandrel securable to a landing nipple and a prong receptacle coupled to a lower end of the tool mandrel. The prong receptacle includes a central bore and a pressure release port in communication with the central bore. The system also includes an equalizing prong initially securable within the tool mandrel in a run-in position. Further, the system includes a tubular prong extension coupled to the equalizing prong. An upper end of the tubular prong extension extends up out of the tool mandrel. Moreover, axially downward movement of the tubular prong extension from the run-in position to a set position secures the tool mandrel to the landing nipple, and axially upward movement of the tubular prong extension from the set position to a released position disengages the tool mandrel from the landing nipple.

A washpipe free feature may include a housing defining a chamber having a bypass portion and a securing portion. The housing has first and second bores to put the bypass portion in fluid communication with an annulus of a wellbore and a central bore of a downhole tubular, respectively. Further, the washpipe free feature includes a magnet secured in the bypass portion, a ferromagnetic ball disposed within the bypass portion, and a piston disposed within the chamber. A distal end of the piston blocks the ball from contacting the magnet in a run-in position such that the ball may plug the first bore in response to fluid flow from the tubular toward the annulus. Additionally, the piston is slideable to an open position such that the magnet may hold the ball out of a flow path between the first bore and the second bore in the bypass portion.
