A conditioner includes a pressure roller assembly, a tension roller assembly, a heating element, a pressure roller drive motor, a tension drive motor, and a controller. The heating element heats the pressure roller assembly. The pressure roller drive motor rotates the pressure roller assembly. The tension drive motor rotates the tension roller assembly. The controller receives a print job complete notification to initiate a conditioner shutdown. In response to the print job complete notification, the controller turns off the tension drive motor. The controller sets the heating element to a predetermined temperature and waits a first predetermined period. In response to the first predetermined period elapsing, the controller turns off the heating element. With the heating element turned off, the controller turns off the pressure roller drive motor.

In some examples, velocity and torque based media motor control may include ascertaining a velocity and torque for a feed roller motor associated with a feed roller, and ascertaining a velocity and torque for a drive roller motor associated with a drive roller that is to receive media from the feed roller. Further, velocity and torque based media motor control may include determining whether the torque for the drive roller motor is greater than a torque target. In response to a determination that the torque for the drive roller motor is greater than the torque target, the torque for the drive roller motor may be reduced to the torque target, and the torque for the drive roller motor may be maintained at the torque target.

A fluid cartridge for a printing device includes a housing including a floor, a chamber defined in the housing and configured to store an ink therein, a capillary medium disposed in the housing and in operative communication with the chamber, and a wick disposed at least partially in an opening of the floor, the wick including a portion extending a predetermined distance into the housing such that the wick portion contacts the capillary medium. The fluid cartridge further includes an enriched pigment-confining member established inside the housing such that the confining member physically contacts the floor and surrounds at least a portion of a periphery of the wick. The confining member is configured to i) block enriched ink from the wick, and/or ii) dilute the enriched ink prior to flowing through the wick.

A print head cap includes a vent which is opened during storage of the print head against the cap, is closed during priming of fluid through nozzles of the print head and is opened to stop the priming. Pumping of fluid from the cap is started substantially immediately upon opening of the vent to stop priming.

A method of removing gas from a printhead is provided. A sealing material may be applied to orifices of a printhead from external the printhead to restrict passage of fluid through the orifices. Ink may be moved through a printhead conduit disposed in fluid communication with the orifices to create an inward suction adjacent the orifices so that the gas is displaced from adjacent the orifices.

An electrical probe for a flying leadset of a logic analyzer probe has coaxially aligned internal elements enclosed in an insulating cover. The probe has an electrically conductive contact having contact fingers extending in one direction from a support member and a contact member extending in the opposite direction. A sleeve abuts the contact member and receive a center conductor of a conductive cable that is secured in the contact member. The insulating cover has a contact cover portion and a over-mold portion that are chemically bonded together. The contact fingers are positioned in the contact cover and the over-mold portion encapsulates the rest of the probe. The contact fingers are aligned parallel with one side of a square aperture formed in the contact cover. A resistive element may be interposed between the contact member and the sleeve.
