Tail pipe

A vehicle dashboard includes a trim panel defining an airflow opening. At least one register duct defines a register opening. The at least one register duct is disposed adjacent to the trim panel and the register opening aligns with the airflow opening. At least one demister duct defines a demister opening. The at least one demister duct is disposed adjacent to the trim panel and the demister opening aligns with the airflow opening. A first air deflector slidably engaged with the at least one register duct. A second air deflector slidably engaged with the at least one register duct.

Duct assembly for a vehicle HVAC system

Methods and systems are provided for an exhaust system of a vehicle. In one example, the exhaust system includes an exhaust tail pipe with an asymmetric outlet. The asymmetric outlet of the tail pipe may flare outwards, away from a central axis of the tail pipe, circumferentially surrounded by a housing with a geometry matching a geometry of the asymmetric outlet.

A decklid and luggage compartment system for an automotive vehicle includes a luggage compartment located at one end of a vehicle and a decklid for closing the luggage compartment. A linked hinge moves the decklid translationally from a closed position to a raised position and axially displaced open position. The decklid maintains a common attitude in both the closed and opened positions. A combination load floor and bumper assembly having a load floor for the luggage compartment is mounted upon a sliding carrier for movement between an extended position and a retracted position.
