A bicycle including a frame that has a head tube, and a frame member that is elongated along a longitudinal axis. The bicycle also includes a receiver that is disposed in the frame member, and a battery pack that is coupled to the frame member and detachably connected to the receiver. The receiver has a tapered socket and a power connector encircled by the tapered socket. The battery pack has a tapered end cap that is insertable into the tapered socket along the longitudinal axis. The tapered end cap includes a battery connector disposed on an end of the battery pack. The tapered end cap is at least partially nested within the tapered socket along the longitudinal axis upon connection between the receiver and the battery pack, and the battery connector is electrically connected to the power connector upon nesting the tapered end cap in the tapered socket.

Bicycle with battery mount

A bicycle and light assembly has wheels, a frame support by the wheels, a bike light supported by the frame, and a mounting system coupling the bike light to the frame. The mounting system includes a socket secured to one of the frame and the bike light, a post secured to the other of the frame and the bike light, and a releasable securing mechanism that secures the post in the socket. The mounting system can further include a mounting bracket coupling the post to the frame, wherein the mounting bracket facilitates rotational adjustment of the post about the post axis. The releasable securing mechanism can include a detent member positioned in a side opening of the socket and in engagement with a recess in the socket to secure the rotational orientation of the post in the socket.

Bike light mounting system

A bicycle including a frame, a bottom bracket coupled to the frame and adapted to support a crankset, and a battery pack supported by the frame. The battery pack has a powered end cap with a tapered protrusion and a battery connector on an end of the tapered protrusion. The bicycle also includes a receiver supported by the frame and including a tapered socket in which the tapered protrusion is positioned. The tapered socket includes a power connector detachably coupled to the battery connector.

A bicycle including a frame that has an elongated hollow frame member, a fork rotationally coupled to the frame, a wheel rotationally coupled to the fork, and a handlebar coupled to the fork for steering the wheel. The frame has an interior surface that defines a longitudinal groove with a groove width. The bicycle also includes a cable that is positioned in the longitudinal groove and that has a cable width less than the groove width.

Bicycle with integrated cable routing

A bicycle including a frame, an electrical circuit including a power source, and an electrical connector. The electrical connector includes a first port defined by a first terminal that has a first configuration, and a second port defined by a second terminal that has a second configuration complementary to the first configuration. The electrical connector further includes a third port that is distinct from the first and second ports, a plurality of passthrough conductors extending from the first port to the second port to connect the electrical connector to the electrical circuit, and at least one lateral conductor providing an electrical connection from the first port to the third port.
