A method, system and article of manufacture for simulating latency between software applications. There is provided a middleware component, e.g., a delay driver, within a multi-tier software product, the middleware component driver enables simulation of both latency and bandwidth restrictions experienced by the components in the multi-tier software product. The middleware component determines whether I/O request packets should be delayed, selects the number and types of I/O requests packets to be delayed and the amount of time to delay processing of the packets. Through the use of such a middleware component, a user is able to simulate various conditions experienced by the multi-tier software product.

A method for analyzing a presentation structure and content including providing a presentation markup, receiving one or more logical attributes for the presentation key point, assigning a time value and an importance weight to a presentation key point utilizing the one or more logical attributes, generating a summary of the presentation, detecting a logical attribute during the presentation and marking the local attribute as located, detecting a presenter behavior pattern detecting a presenter speech pattern; providing a real-time notification of at least one of the presenter behavior pattern or the presenter speech pattern via an external device having a display viewable to the presenter but not to an audience; recording voice input of the presentation; providing an analysis of the presentation generated by analyzing at least one key point in the presentation; and providing an edited playback of the presentation.

Method and system for analyzing a presentation

A method and apparatus for concurrency testing within a model-based testing environment is provided. One implementation involves concurrency testing within a model-based software system testing environment, by receiving concurrent test service requests; duplicating a model representing software under test, based on the number of requests; sending the concurrent requests to each of the duplicated models sequentially but in different orders; storing the outcomes of each of the models; comparing the outcomes from the models to the outcome from the software system under test; and if all comparisons fail, then indicating test failure.
