A device for creating partial cuts, such as transverse spiral cuts, into an elongated food product, such as hot dogs, frankfurters, and wieners, the device having an upper housing section with at least one top blade and a lower housing section with at least one bottom blade, wherein closing the top housing on top of the lower housing with the elongated food product inside allows the top blades and the bottom blades to partially cut through the elongated food product creating a helical groove pattern around the outer surface of the elongated food product while leaving an inner core intact. The device may also have guide channels to guide a skewer through the inner core for easy removal of the food product from the housing. The device can also be provided as a kit with skewers, modified tongs, and a heating unit to cook the food product in the housing.

Device and method for creating partial cuts in food products

An apparatus that moves a jumping element. The apparatus includes a motorized hub that is attached to a housing. The hub can rotate a jumping element, such as a jump rope, about a horizontal axis and/or a vertical axis. The hub is connected to a motor. The jump rope is coupled to the hub by a crank arm. The crank arm automatically releases from the arm in response to a threshold force. The apparatus includes a deactivation element that deactivates the motor when the jumping element is released from the hub. The jump rope can be coupled to the hub by a strap that limits the movement of the rope when decoupled from the hub. Deactivating the motor terminates rotation of the hub to prevent further movement of the crank arm and rope.

A remote controlled toy. The toy includes a powered projectile that can be launched from a remote controlled vehicle. The powered projectile and remote controlled vehicle may each have a motor controlled by a radio frequency ('RF') transmitter. The projectile can be shaped as an airplane that is loaded into a launch platform of the remote controlled vehicle. The user can control movement of the vehicle with the RF transmitter. The transmitter may have a launch button that is depressed by the user to launch the airplane. While in flight the user can control the airplane through the RF transmitter. The motor of the vehicle may turn off when the airplane is launched.

A game set that allows a plurality of players to play a game of draw with water guns. The water guns are drawn from holsters that can be worn by the players of the game. The water gun that is drawn last is deactivated so that only the player who draws the water gun first can spray water.

An electronic paddle that requires a player to strike an object with the paddle in a certain sequence. The electronic paddle includes a paddle that contains a game circuit and a speaker. The game circuit is connected to a first pressure sensor located on a first side of the paddle, and a second pressure sensor located on a second side of the paddle. The pressure sensors provide feedback signals to the game circuit when the paddle strikes the object. The game circuit and speaker generate a first sound when the object strikes the first side of the paddle, and a second sound when the object strikes the second side of the paddle. To play a game the player strikes the object with the first and second sides of the paddle in a pattern that is compared by the game circuit with a predetermined sequence. The game circuit and speaker can emit one sound to indicate a successful matching of the sequence, or another sound to indicate that the player did not strike the object in the correct sequence. The sequence can be either generated by the game circuit, or a pre-existing pattern created by another player striking the object with the first and second sides of the paddle.

Electronic paddle game

A table top basketball game which has a plurality of player figures that can be manipulated by opposing players and which can project a ball into a hoop. The player figures are attached to rods that extend across a floor. The rods have handles which allow the players to spin and laterally move the figures. The rods and player figures are separated and arranged so that the ball can be 'passed' from one player figure to another player figure, while the player figures of the opposing player are manipulated to 'steal' the pass. The rods can also be rotated to spin the player figures and project the ball into a hoop. The floor has a plurality of recess areas that cause the ball to roll to the player figures and increase the action of the game. The game may have a pair of 'center' player figures that are moved in a vertical direction to impede the projection of the ball into the hoop.

An action game whereby the players throw a ball at a plurality of disks so that one of the disks becomes attached to the ball. The ball and disks are covered with hook and loop material, wherein the disks will become attached to the ball when the ball comes into contact with a disk. A variety of games can be played with the game set of the present invention. For example, the disks can all be placed in an area of a playing surface. Each player throws the ball at the disks, trying to get a disk to stick to the ball. The ball is bounced off of the playing surface and caught by the opposing player. If a disk sticks to the ball, the opposing player must keep the disk. When all of the disks have been removed from the playing surface, the player with the least amount of disks wins the game.

A ground level water toy that can be connected to a garden hose and releases water when a player pushes down one preselected control member from a number of control members extending from the toy. The toy has a housing with an inlet that can be coupled to the garden hose, an outlet that can splash the players with water, and an inner fluid passage that provides fluid communication between the inlet and the outlet. The flow of water is controlled by a valve within the housing. The toy has a trigger which is coupled to the valve by a shaft assembly. The trigger normally maintains the shaft assembly in a down position, so that the valve is closed. When the trigger is activated, the shaft moves to an up position, which opens the valve and allows water to flow from the housing outlet. The toy has a plurality of control members that extend from the housing and are adapted to be moved between a first position and a second position. One of the control members is aligned with the trigger, so that when the control member is moved into the second position, the trigger is depressed and the shaft assembly is allowed to move into the up position.

Game with selective members for releasing water

A hand held toy that releases a fluid when an external pressure is applied to a portion of the toy. The toy includes a cylinder typically shaped as a sword. The sword shaped cylinder has a handle portion that can be easily grasped by a human hand. The cylinder also has a blade portion that is covered by a soft foam material, so that the blade does not injure another participant when struck by the sword. Within the handle portion of the cylinder is a fluid reservoir filled with a pressurized fluid. The reservoir is connected to a valve and a valve piston located at the opposite end of the cylinder. The valve piston and valve are adapted to move from a closed position to an open position, when an external pressure is applied to the piston. Moving the piston and valve into the open position allows fluid to flow from the fluid reservoir, through the valve and into the ambient. The toy also includes a pump connected to the fluid reservoir, so that a user can manually pressurize the fluid. To operate the toy, the user, who is typically a child, fills the reservoir with fluid and then pressurizes the same with the pump. The child can then engage another child with an identical toy. Each child maneuvers the toy and tries to press the valve piston of his sword onto the other player, so that fluid is released onto the other child.
