A centralizer assembly includes a tubular comprising a ground-down region and a raised region. A wall thickness of the tubular in the ground-down region is less than a wall thickness of the tubular in the raised region, and the wall thickness of the tubular in the ground-down region is substantially constant as proceeding around the tubular in the ground-down region. The centralizer assembly also includes a centralizer disposed at least partially in the ground-down region.

A downhole tool may include a first end collar configured to be positioned at least partially around a tubular, a second end collar configured to be positioned at least partially around the tubular, a plurality of elongate members extending between and connected to the first and second end collars, and a dissolvable retention member coupled to the second end collar. The dissolvable retention member is configured to maintain a position of the second end collar relative to the first end collar until the dissolvable retention member at least partially dissolves in a downhole fluid. When the dissolvable retention member at least partially dissolves, the second end collar is configured to move with respect to the first end collar, and the plurality of elongate members expand radially outwards.

A cable clamp, modified tubular, and method for securing a cable to a tubular. The cable clamp includes a first base that is configured to be attached to the tubular by a bonding material, and a cover that is configured to be placed on the first base. At least one of the first base or the cover defines a groove extending therein, for receiving a cable through the cable clamp.

A method for manufacturing a centralizer assembly includes reducing a diameter of a mandrel such that a turned-down region is formed in the mandrel, positioning a first stop segment in the turned-down region, and positioning a centralizer at least partially in the turned-down region, wherein the first stop segment is positioned intermediate of axial extents of the centralizer, such that the first stop segment at least partially limits a range of motion of the centralizer relative to the mandrel.

Method for manufacturing a turned-down centralizer sub assembly

A centralizer assembly and method for manufacturing a centralizer assembly. The centralizer assembly includes a mandrel including a first raised region having a first diameter, and a turned-down region having a second diameter, the second diameter being smaller than the first diameter. The centralizer assembly also includes a first stop segment extending at least partially around the mandrel in the turned-down region, and a centralizer disposed at least partially in the turned-down region. The first stop segment is received between axial extents of the centralizer, to limit a range of motion of the centralizer relative to the mandrel.

A limit collar includes a limit component coupled to a surface of a wellbore tubular; and an interface component engaging the limit component. The interface component may include an extension, and wherein at least one surface of the extension is coupled to the limit component. The extension may also include a side extension.

A centralizer comprises a first body portion, a second body portion, a plurality of bow springs connecting the first body portion to the second body portion, and a window disposed in the first body portion. The centralizer may also have a wellbore tubular disposed longitudinally within the first body portion, the second body portion, and the plurality of bow springs, and an upset disposed on the surface of the wellbore tubular and within the window.
