A method for preparing dimethyl 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylate (DMCD) is provided. The method includes hydrogenating dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) under a condition of a pressure of 20 to 30 kg/cmto continuously prepare the DMCD, and thereby increasing the selectivity of the DMCD. A method for preparing 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM) is further provided.

Method for preparing dimethyl 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylate and method for preparing 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol

A method for hydroxylation of phenol is disclosed. The method includes the step of performing a reaction of phenol and hydrogen peroxide to form diphenol in the presence of solid catalyst with zeolite framework, wherein the solid catalyst includes silicon oxide, titanium oxide and cobalt oxide. The solid catalyst used in the preparation of diphenol of the present invention has high conversion rate of diphenol, selectivity of diphenol and higher utilization rate of hydrogen peroxide without using high concentration of hydrogen peroxide.

Method for hydroxylation of phenol

A method for preparing an epoxide is disclosed. The method for preparing an epoxide includes the step of performing a reaction of an alkene and oxidant in the presence of a Ti&#x2014;Si molecular sieve as a catalyst, and increases the conversion rate of hydrogen peroxide and the yield of the epoxide.
