A wavelength conversion device includes a base plate, at least one wavelength conversion material layer and a balance ring. The base plate has a geometric center, the wavelength conversion material layer is disposed on the base plate, and the balance ring is disposed on the base plate and rotates about a rotation shaft. The balance ring has a balancing part, and the balancing part includes at least one of the following structures: (1) a protrusion formed by a part of an outer periphery of the balance ring protruding in a direction away from the rotation shaft; (2) a recess formed by a part of the outer periphery of the balance ring caving in a direction towards the rotation shaft.

Wavelength conversion device

A wavelength conversion device, adapted for converting the wavelength of an incident illumination beam, includes a substrate and a wavelength conversion component. The wavelength conversion component is disposed on the substrate and includes a wavelength conversion layer and at least two wavelength conversion spoilers. The at least two wavelength conversion spoilers are disposed on the wavelength conversion layer, protrude from the wavelength conversion layer, and expose part of the wavelength conversion layer, and the height of each of the at least two wavelength conversion spoilers is less than half of the distance between the at least two wavelength conversion spoilers. The wavelength conversion device in the disclosure has good heat dissipation efficiency. A projector including the wavelength conversion device is further provided in the disclosure. Manufacturing methods of the wavelength conversion device are further provided in the disclosure.

Wavelength conversion device, manufacturing methods thereof and projector

The invention relates to a wavelength conversion device and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method includes: mixing a fluorescent material, a binding material, and a solvent to form a mixed solution. The volume percentage concentration of the fluorescent material is about 50% to 80%, the volume percentage concentration of the binding material is 10% to 40%, and the volume percentage concentration of the solvent is 10% to 30%. The mixed solution is coated on the substrate. A heat treatment is performed on the mixed solution at a first temperature to form a wavelength conversion layer. The first temperature is higher than the boiling point of the solvent, and the wavelength conversion layer has a porosity of 10% to 30%. The wavelength conversion device manufactured by the manufacturing method of the invention has better toughness, and may provide stable optical quality and improve image brightness.

Wavelength conversion device and manufacturing method thereof

A wavelength conversion device includes a substrate, a reflection layer, a wavelength conversion layer, and a first optical layer. The wavelength conversion device has a central axis. The reflection layer is disposed on an upper surface of the substrate. The central axis is perpendicular to the upper surface. The wavelength conversion layer is disposed on the reflection layer and around the central axis, has a complete or partial annular shape, and includes a first region and two second regions. The first region is located between the second regions. The first optical layer is disposed on a surface of the wavelength conversion layer and corresponds to the first region. In an axial direction, an orthographic projection of the first optical layer on the upper surface is not overlapped with an orthographic projection of the second regions on the upper surface. The first optical layer includes first diffusing particles.

Wavelength conversion device and projection device

A wheel provided by the disclosure includes a substrate, a driving component, a clamping element and a balance component. The driving component is connected to the substrate, and is configured to drive the substrate to rotate about the axis of the driving component as the central axis. The clamping element is arranged on the substrate along the axis, and the clamping element includes a plurality of protruding structures. The balance component includes a balance substance and an adhesive. The balance substance is arranged on the protruding structure, and the adhesive covers the balance substance and the protruding structure to fix the balance component on the clamping element. The wheel and projection device provided by the disclosure have better structural reliability and heat dissipation efficiency.

Wheel and projection device

A wavelength conversion element includes a substrate, a wavelength conversion layer and a heat dissipation member. The substrate has a supporting surface. The wavelength conversion layer is disposed on the supporting surface. The heat dissipation member is disposed on the supporting surface and is surrounded by the wavelength conversion layer. The heat dissipation member has a heat dissipation plate and a plurality of heat dissipation tooth portions. The heat dissipation plate is fixed on the supporting surface. The heat dissipation plate has an outer side surface. The outer side surface is perpendicular to the supporting surface. The heat dissipation tooth portions are respectively connected to the outer side surface. A projection device including the wavelength conversion element is also provided. The wavelength conversion element can improve wavelength conversion efficiency and reliability, and the projection device can improve image brightness and service life.

Wavelength conversion element and projection device

The disclosure provides a projection device with a wavelength conversion module including a ceramic substrate, a ceramic intermediate layer, a ceramic reflection layer, and a wavelength conversion layer. The ceramic reflection layer is disposed on the ceramic intermediate layer disposed on the ceramic substrate. The thermal expansion coefficient of the ceramic intermediate layer ranges from the thermal expansion coefficient of the ceramic substrate and the thermal expansion coefficient of the ceramic reflection layer. The wavelength conversion layer is disposed on the ceramic reflection layer. With the wavelength conversion module and the projection device, separation or gaps between the ceramic substrate and the ceramic reflection layer caused by a significant difference of the thermal expansion coefficients is prevented, the adhesion between the ceramic substrate and the ceramic reflection layer is further improved, the service life and the structural reliability of the wavelength conversion module are improved.

Wavelength conversion module and projection device

A wavelength-converting element includes a substrate, a wavelength-converting layer and a diffuse reflection layer. The wavelength-converting layer is disposed above the substrate. The diffuse reflection layer is disposed between the substrate and the wavelength-converting layer. The diffuse reflection layer includes an inorganic binder and a plurality of diffuse reflection particles. The diffuse reflection particles are mixed with the inorganic binder. The inorganic binder includes an alcohol-soluble inorganic binder or a water-soluble inorganic binder. A projection apparatus using the wavelength-converting element and a manufacturing method of the wavelength-converting element are also provided.

Wavelength-converting element, projection apparatus, and manufacturing method of wavelength-converting element

The invention provides a wavelength conversion device and a projection device, where the wavelength conversion device includes a substrate, a wavelength conversion layer, and a light-transmitting layer. The wavelength conversion layer is disposed on the substrate and is made of a wavelength conversion material and a bonding material. The wavelength conversion layer has a refractive index of 1.55-1.70. The light-transmitting layer is disposed on the wavelength conversion layer and is made of the bonding material. The wavelength conversion device and the projection device provided by the invention have greater brightness and are less restricted by temperature during operation.

A wavelength conversion module, including a first substrate, a second substrate, a counterweight ring, a first wavelength conversion layer, and a second wavelength conversion layer, is provided. The first substrate has a first upper surface. The second substrate has a second upper surface. The counterweight ring is disposed on the first upper surface of the first substrate and the second upper surface of the second substrate to connect the first substrate to the second substrate. The first wavelength conversion layer is disposed on the first upper surface of the first substrate and located around the counterweight ring. The second wavelength conversion layer is disposed on the second upper surface of the second substrate and located around the counterweight ring. A wavelength of a first excited beam emitted by the first wavelength conversion layer is greater than a wavelength of a second excited beam emitted by the second wavelength conversion layer.

A wavelength-converting element includes a substrate and a wavelength-converting layer. The wavelength-converting layer is disposed on the substrate. The wavelength-converting layer includes a first inorganic binder and a wavelength-converting material. The wavelength-converting material is mixed with the first inorganic binder. The first inorganic binder includes a first alcohol-soluble inorganic binder or a first water-soluble inorganic binder. A projection apparatus using the wavelength-converting element and a manufacturing method of the wavelength-converting element are also provided.

A wavelength conversion device includes a heat dissipation substrate, a first reflection layer, a second reflection layer, and a wavelength conversion layer. The first reflection layer is disposed on the heat dissipation substrate. The second reflection layer is disposed on the first reflection layer. The wavelength conversion layer is disposed on the second reflection layer. The first reflection layer is located between the heat dissipation substrate and the second reflection layer, and the second reflection layer is located between the first reflection layer and the wavelength conversion layer. A reflectivity of the second reflection layer to a visible light is greater than a reflectivity of the first reflection layer to the visible light, and a thickness of the first reflection layer is greater than or equal to a thickness of the second reflection layer. A projection device having the wavelength conversion device is further provided.

A wavelength conversion device includes a substrate, a wavelength conversion layer and a filling layer. The wavelength conversion layer is disposed on the substrate. A surface of the wavelength conversion layer away from the substrate has a plurality of pores, the filling layer is disposed on the surface of the wavelength conversion layer to fill the pores, where the filling layer is a transparent structure, and a transmittance of the filling layer to visible light is greater than or equal to 85%. A projection device having the above wavelength conversion device is also provided. The wavelength conversion device and the projection device of the invention may simplify a manufacturing process to save costs, and a yield and optical effects thereof are improved.

A wavelength conversion module including a substrate, a reflective layer and a wavelength conversion layer is provided. The reflective layer is located on the substrate, wherein the reflective layer has two first reflective regions and a second reflective region. The second reflective region is located between the two first reflective regions in a radial direction, and the distance from the top of the reflective layer in the second reflective region to the substrate is smaller than the distance from the top of the reflective layer in each of the first reflective regions to the substrate. The wavelength conversion layer is located on the substrate, wherein the reflective layer is located between the substrate and the wavelength conversion layer. In addition, an illumination system, a projection apparatus, and a method of forming a wavelength conversion module are also proposed.
