An expansion screw structure contains an anchor for mating with a screw. The anchor includes a first segment and a second segment which have a central axis, and a shank. The anchor further includes a head which has a slot. The shank includes a first threaded section, multiple cutouts, a decreasingly conical tip, a second threaded section, a slit, a first support foot, a second support foot. The slit has a first part, a second part, and a third part. The second part has a first raised portion, the second part has a second raised portion, and the third part has a connection section and a thin coupling strap. The thin coupling strap has a first thickness, the connection section has a second thickness, and the first thickness of the coupling strap is &#x2153; of the second thickness of the connection section.

A display apparatus includes a transparent substrate, a transparent matrix layer, a black matrix layer and a conductive layer. The transparent matrix layer is disposed above the transparent substrate. The black matrix layer is disposed below the transparent substrate. A pixel structure, a method of manufacturing the pixel structure, and an active device matrix substrate are provided. The pixel structure includes a first patterned metal layer having a common line and a gate; a first insulation layer; a semiconductor pattern; a second patterned metal layer having a source and a drain both electrically connected to the semiconductor pattern; a second insulation layer having a contact opening exposing the drain; and an electrode layer having a common electrode, and a pixel electrode connected to the drain through the contact opening. The common line, the first insulation layer, and the pixel electrode constitute a first storage capacitor. The common line, the drain, and the common electrode constitute a sandwich structure. The common line, the first insulation layer, and the drain constitute a second storage capacitor. The drain, the second insulation layer, and the common electrode constitute a third storage capacitor.

Pixel structure, method of manufacturing pixel structure, and active device matrix substrate

A liquid crystal display panel includes a pixel array substrate, an opposite substrate, and a twisted nematic (TN) liquid crystal layer located between the two substrates. The pixel array substrate includes a first substrate, gate lines, data lines, thin film transistors (TFTs) coupled to the gate lines and the data lines, a first insulation layer, a transparent conductive layer, a second insulation layer, and pixel electrodes coupled to the TFTs through contact holes in the first and second insulation layers. The first insulation layer covers the gate lines, the data lines, and the TFTs. The transparent conductive layer, the second insulation layer, and the pixel electrodes are sequentially stacked on the first insulation layer and constitute a storage capacitor. A phase retardation value of the TN liquid crystal layer ranges from 250 to 480, and a dielectric anisotropy &#x394;&#x2208; of the TN liquid crystal layer ranges from 3 to 10.

Liquid crystal display panel

A multi-domain liquid crystal display (LCD) includes multiple effective pixel electrodes, dummy pixel electrodes and auxiliary electrodes. The effective pixel electrodes are regularly arranged in an array of row and column, and the array of effective pixel electrodes constitute an active display area of the multi-domain LCD. The dummy pixel electrodes are provided outside the active display area and arranged at least on the side of an outermost row or outermost column of the array of effective pixel electrodes. Each auxiliary electrode is positioned next to one side of an effective pixel electrode or a dummy pixel electrode to produce fringe fields and is connected to another effective pixel electrode controlled by a preceding or a succeeding signal line to allow all effective pixel electrodes to have substantially the same coupling capacitance.

Multi-domain liquid crystal display

A liquid crystal display panel including a data line, a first, a second and a third scan line, a first, a second and a third switch, and a first, a second and a third pixel electrode is provided. These scan lines are sequentially disposed next to each other. Each switch has a control end, an input end and an output end. These control ends are respectively coupled to these scan lines. These input ends are coupled to the data line. These output ends are respectively coupled to the pixel electrodes. A first extending electrode of the first pixel electrode is near the second pixel electrode, a second extending electrode of the second pixel electrode is near the third pixel electrode, and a third extending electrode of the third pixel electrode is near the first extending electrode.

Liquid crystal display panel and driving method thereof and liquid crystal display device using the same

A LCD panel includes a data line, first and second scan lines, first and second pixels and an auxiliary electrode. The first pixel has a first pixel electrode, first and second switches. The first switch has an input terminal coupled to the data line, a control terminal coupled to the first scan line and an output terminal coupled to the first pixel electrode. The second switch has an input terminal coupled to the data line and a control terminal coupled to the first scan line. The second pixel has a second pixel electrode and a third switch. The third switch has an input terminal coupled to the data line, a control terminal coupled to the second scan line and an output terminal coupled to the second pixel electrode. The auxiliary electrode coupled to an output terminal of the second switch is adjacent to the second pixel electrode.

Liquid crystal display panel and liquid crystal display device using the same

A color washout reducing LCD panel including a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal layer sealed between the first and second substrates is provided. The first substrate includes several thin film transistors (TFTs) arranged in an array and several pixel electrodes each electrically connected to one TFT. Each pixel electrode has a first and a second electrode blocks. The first electrode block has several first slits, wherein a first interval of the first electrode block is perpendicular to the first slits, and a first width of the first electrode block is between any two neighboring first slits. The second electrode block has several second slits, wherein a second interval of the second electrode block is perpendicular to the second slit and not equal to the first interval, and a second width of the second electrode block is between any two neighboring second slits.

Color washout reducing liquid crystal display panel and LCD device using the same

A fringe field switching liquid crystal display apparatus is provided. This apparatus includes a first electrode and a second electrode. The first electrode includes a first side edge, a second side edge and plural strips defining plural spacings between the first and the second side edges. Each of the plural strips is formed between two of the plural spacings, and each of the plural spacings has two ends. The second electrode is disposed in a stacked relationship with the first electrode, and includes at least a penetrating vacancy with a projection, which overlaps one of the two ends of one of the plural spacings.

Fringe field switching liquid crystal display apparatus

A pixel circuit structure applied in an LCD panel, which has a common voltage and includes at least one data line, is provided. The pixel circuit structure includes a first and a second circuit. The first circuit includes a first switch and a first capacitor. The second circuit includes a second switch, a third switch and a second capacitor. One end of the first capacitor receives the common voltage. Two ends of the first switch are respectively coupled to the data line and the other end of the first capacitor. The second and the third switch are coupled serially between the data line and a voltage source. One end of the second capacitor receives the common voltage, and the other end is coupled between the second and the third switch. The potential difference between the two ends of the first capacitor is different from that of the second capacitor.

Pixel circuit structure

An active matrix substrate is provided, which includes a substrate, a plurality of scan lines, data lines, pixel unites, and pre-charge components. The scan lines, data lines and pixel units are all disposed on the substrate. The pixel units are electrically connected with the corresponding scan lines and data lines. Each pixel unit includes an active device and a pixel electrode. The active devices are electrically connected with the scan lines, the data lines and the pixel electrodes. Each pre-charge component is electrically connected with one of the scan lines and two adjacent pixel electrodes controlled by the next scan line. When the pre-charge component is turned on via the scan line electrically connected therewith, the two adjacent pixel electrodes electrically connected with each pre-charge component have the same voltage level so that the two adjacent pixel units are pre-charged.

Active matrix substrate with pre-charge components and liquid crystal display panel thereof

A fringe field switching liquid crystal display apparatus is provided. This apparatus includes a first electrode disposed in a stacked relationship with a second electrode. The first electrode includes a first side edge, a second side edge, and plural spaces that define plural strips between the first and the second side edges, wherein the plural strips and the plural spacings form a first area. The second electrode is disposed on one of places above and below the first electrode, and has at least a penetrating vacancy or other capacitance-reduction device, which has a projection onto the first electrode located outside the first area.
