Voltage regulators generate voltage rails that power a central processing unit (CPU). The CPU communicates power management instructions to a power supply controller that drives the voltage regulators. The power supply controller sets a voltage level of a voltage rail generated by a voltage regulator in accordance with a power management instruction received from the CPU. The power supply controller enables the voltage regulator to operate in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) independent of power state commands from the CPU.

A management server includes a storage unit, a sub-server and a load balancing unit. The storage unit stores a datum. The sub-server is corresponded to the storage unit and obtains the datum from the storage unit according to a request signal. The load balancing unit is coupled to the sub-server and receives the request signal from the client. The load balancing unit distributes the request signal to the corresponding sub-server according to a request number of the request signal. The management server outputs the datum obtained by the sub-server from the storage unit according to the request number.

The server generates a first time in response to the initial value. The client generates a second time and a first verification hash code related with the first time and the second time. The server generates a random variable and a second verification hash code related with the first time, the random variable and the first verification hash code. The client generates a first transmitting data and a third verification hash code related with the first transmitting data, the first verification hash code and the second verification hash code. The server generates a first response message and a fourth verification hash code related with the first response message, the second verification hash code and the third verification hash code.
