A piece of hygiene equipment includes a transmitting section configured to transmit an outbound radio signal carrying transmission payload data; a receiving section configured to receive an inbound radio signal carrying reception payload data; a processing section configured to transmit an outbound radio signal carrying specific transmission payload data and/or to receive an inbound radio signal carrying specific reception payload data for determining a communication partner to which outbound radio signals are to be transmitted and from which inbound radio signals are to be received; and a memory section. The processing section is configured to determine said communication partner and to store information on the determined communication partner in said memory section.

Apparatuses and method for transmitting payload data between hygiene equipments with radio transmission capabilities

Provided is a system for estimating a compliance metric indicating the usage of hygiene equipment by one or more operators, such as in a healthcare setting. The system includes a receiving section and a calculation section. The receiving section is configured to receive activity data from a sensor arrangement, the activity data indicating activities by the one or more operators including usage of the hygiene equipment. The calculation section is configured to estimate, based on the activity data and a trained function, the compliance metric.

A fluid pump includes a plastomer spring. The spring includes a first end portion and a second end portion and a plurality of rhombus shaped spring sections, joined together in series at adjacent corners and aligned with each other in an axial direction to connect the first end portion to the second end portion. The spring sections can be compressed in the axial direction from an initial condition to a compressed condition and can subsequently expand to their initial condition.

A pump for dispensing a fluid product from a product container, includes a unitary pump body defining an axis and including a pump chamber, a pump inlet and a pump outlet. The pump chamber is collapsible over an axially directed pumping stroke from an initial condition to a collapsed condition and is biased to return to its initial condition in a return stroke. An axially compressible spring is arranged to at least partially support the pump body during its collapse.
