A method and system for compensating for vehicle disturbances during vehicle operation, including: an algorithm for obtaining predicted driving condition data from a database, wherein the database includes one or more of geospatial data and remote vehicle data; an algorithm for obtaining real-time vehicle state data from equipment communicatively connected to a vehicle; an algorithm for combining the predicted driving condition data and the real-time vehicle state data to formulate a desired steering torque request necessary to compensate for predicted and actual driving conditions experienced by the vehicle; and an algorithm for providing the desired steering torque request to a power steering assist system of the vehicle to compensate for the predicted and actual driving conditions experienced by the vehicle.

Predictive and real-time vehicle disturbance compensation methods and systems

A multi-wavelength laser module including a base plate, a plurality of radiation sources mounted on the base plate, at least one telescope including a first lens and a second lens wherein the second lens is arranged at a distance from the first lens along a radiation beam path, thereby creating a telescopic effect. A beam angle correction plate is arranged between the first lens and the second lens in the radiation beam path, the beam angle correction plate being angled in relation to the radiation beam path so as to parallel shift the radiation beam inside the telescope and thereby adjust the pointing direction of the radiation beam after passage of the telescope. Further, a method for assembling a multi-wavelength laser system provided with telescopes with such beam angle correction plate.

Multi-wavelength laser system

It is provided an aperture coupled patch antenna comprising a substrate comprising a planar electrically conductive ground plane, an electrically conductive box arranged on and electrically connected to the ground plane to form an air filled cavity between the box and the ground plane, the box comprising an aperture in the form of at least one elongate slot. The antenna further comprises an electrically conductive patch arranged in parallel with the ground plane and at a distance from the box such that the aperture of the box is located between the patch and the ground plane and a distribution network comprising at least one elongate distribution element arranged in parallel with the ground plane between the ground plane and the patch, at a distance from the substrate and the ground plane and at a distance from the box such that a gap is formed between the distribution element and the box, wherein the extension of the distribution element intersects the extension of the aperture.

Aperture coupled patch antenna arrangement

The disclosure relates to a node in a wireless communication arrangement, the node comprising an antenna arrangement that comprises a first and second inverted F antenna. The inverted F antennas comprise a corresponding first and second feed connection, first and second ground connection and a corresponding first and second radiating element mainly extending from the respective ground connection along a corresponding first and second longitudinal extension. The inverted F antennas are arranged on, or in, a plane. Furthermore, the first and second radiating elements are extending in opposite directions along their respective longitudinal extensions from the respective ground connections, the first longitudinal extension and the second longitudinal extension being mutually parallel. The closest distance between the first radiating element and the second radiating element exceeds 0.4*&#x3bb;, where &#x3bb;is the wavelength for the center frequency of the frequency band for which the inverted F antennas are intended.

Inverted F-antennas at a wireless communication node

A laser is disclosed, which is suitable for efficient generation of continuous-wave laser light having a wavelength of about 400 nm or less. The short-wavelength light is generated by first frequency-doubling a fundamental wave, and then sum-frequency mixing the frequency-doubled wave and the fundamental wave. The non-linear interactions are effected by means of quasi-phasematching structures inside a resonant cavity where the fundamental wave is circulating. The sum-frequency mixing is effected using second or higher order quasi-phasematching, which allows for wider domains to be inverted for the quasi-phasematching structure compared to first order quasi-phasematching. Preferably, the sum-frequency mixing is effected using periodically poled stoichiometric lithium tantalate (PPSLT) for second or third order quasi-phasematching.

Continuous-wave ultraviolet laser

A laser arrangement is provided, in which a Lyot filter arrangement is operative to effect single mode operation. The birefringent element of the Lyot filter arrangement has a cavity folding mirror on one side thereof and a polarizing element on another side thereof, such that the free spectral range of the Lyot filter is improved. Preferably, the Lyot filter arrangement and the laser gain material are located in different branches of the folded cavity.

Frequency stabilized laser source

A laser arrangement comprising a first and a second resonant cavity for generating a first and a second fundamental wavelength. A first and a second non-linear region are provided in the second cavity for sum-frequency mixing of the radiation generated in the first cavity and in the second cavity, and for frequency-doubling of the radiation generated in the second cavity, respectively.

Multiple wavelength laser arrangement

A method of generating coherent radiation, wherein a first fundamental beam of radiation from a four level laser and a second fundamental beam of radiation from a three level laser are mixed in a non-linear body to obtain an output beam at the sum frequency of the two fundamental beams. The invention also relates to an arrangement for carrying out the method.

Optical frequency mixing

A method and a device for generating visible coherent radiation is disclosed. The visible coherent radiation is generated by sum-frequency mixing of a first fundamental beam from a diode laser and a second fundamental beam from a diode-pumped solid-state laser. The mixing is performed by means of a quasi-phasematching element provided within the resonant cavity of the solid-state laser. The first fundamental beam is stabilized by providing feedback to the diode laser.

Coherent light source based on sum-frequency mixing

A lens arrangement for transforming a divergent, generally astigmatic laser beam from a diode laser into a beam having a high degree of rotational symmetry is disclosed. The arrangement comprises, in series, a first cylindrical gradient index lens arranged with its principal axes parallel to the principal axes of the astigmatic laser beam; a second cylindrical gradient index lens arranged with its principal axes parallel to the principal axes of the astigmatic laser beam; and a third cylindrical gradient index lens arranged with its principal axes rotated 45 degrees with respect to the principal axes of the astigmatic laser beam. The first and the second gradient index lenses have such refractive powers that both the fast and the slow axis of the astigmatic laser beam are converged to a focus inside the third gradient index lens.

Grin-lens arrangement

The present invention relates to a method for the periodic domain inversion of ferroelectric flux-grown crystals that are low conductive or made low conductive. The invention also relates to an arrangement for monitoring the domain inversion of crystals while using a laser. The invention also relates to the use of crystals in applications of periodic domain inverted crystals, partly for generating light (electromagnetic radiation) at new wavelengths by non-linear optical frequency mixing (frequency doubling, difference frequency generation, summation frequency generation, optical parametric oscillation, etc.) and partly for electro-optical applications, such as light beam modulation, and partly for acoustic applications. such as the generation of acoustic waves from electric voltages applied across the crystal.
