A signal processing apparatus includes a frequency detector configured to receive a user input including at least one of a vibration input and a user voice, vibrate in response to the received user input, and detect a frequency of the received user input, based on the vibration, and a processor configured to determine a type of the user input received by the frequency detector, based on the frequency detected by the frequency detector, and perform a function corresponding to the user input of the determined type.

Apparatus and method for signal processing

A sound signal processing apparatus may include: a directional microphone configured to detect a user voice signal including a user's voice by arranging the directional microphone to face an utterance point of the user's voice; a non-directional microphone configured to detect a mixed sound signal comprising the user voice and an external sound; and a processor configured to generate an external sound signal by attenuating the user's voice from the mixed sound signal, by differentially calculating the user voice signal from the mixed sound signal.

Acoustic sensor assembly and method of sensing sound using the same

A compact directional acoustic sensor having an improved signal-to-noise ratio is disclosed. The disclosed directional acoustic sensor includes a first sensing device configured to generate different output gains based on different input directions of external energy, and configured to generate at least one first output signal having a first polarity based on external energy received from an input direction; a second sensing device configured to generate different output gains based on different input directions of external energy, and configured to generate at least one second output signal having a second polarity, that is different than the first polarity, based on the external energy received from the input direction; and at least one signal processor configured to generate at least one final output signal based on the at least one first output signal and the at least one second output signal.

Directional acoustic sensor

A directional acoustic sensor may include a plurality of resonators arranged in different directions; and a processor configured to calculate a time difference between a first signal that is received by the plurality of resonators directly from a sound source (e.g., a speaker) and a second signal that is received by the plurality of resonators from the sound source after being reflected on a wall surface around the sound source, and determine a distance between the sound source and the directional acoustic sensor based on the time difference.

A bandgap reference voltage generating circuit includes a first current generator generating a first complementary-to-absolute temperature (CTAT) current and a first proportional-to-absolute temperature (PTAT) current, a second current generator generating a second CTAT current and a second PTAT current, and an output circuit outputting a reference voltage based on a difference between a first voltage based on the first CTAT current and the first PTAT current and a second voltage based on the second CTAT current and the second PTAT current, wherein the first CTAT current is cancelled by the second CTAT current.

Provided is a plasma dicing method. The plasma dicing method includes: performing plasma etching on a first surface of a substrate exposed between a plurality of membrane structures; forming a passivation layer on a semiconductor wafer to cover the plurality of membrane structures and at least one trench; performing plasma etching on a second surface of the substrate such that a through hole exposing a portion of the plurality of membrane structures and a dicing lane connected to the trench and having a width less than a width of the through hole are formed at the substrate; and removing the passivation layer and singulating the semiconductor wafer into a plurality of devices including a membrane partially exposed by the through hole.
