A laundry treatment apparatus includes a cabinet defining an external appearance of the apparatus and a base, a drum rotatably provided in the cabinet, a driver provided in the base to rotate the drum, a duct fastened to the base to form a circulation passage communicating with the drum, a heat pump having a heat exchanger provided in the circulation passage to heat air, and a discharge unit to discharge water generated by the heat exchanger. The base includes a water collection chamber that is configured to collect the water generated by the heat exchanger and has discharge surfaces having different inclined angles, thereby guiding flow of condensate water, and a discharge hole that is located adjacent to the water collection chamber and configured to communicate with the water collection chamber such that water guided by the at least one discharge surface is discharged through the discharge unit.

Laundry treatment apparatus

In one aspect of the present disclosure, a laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet having a laundry receiving hole defined in a front surface portion thereof; a door pivotally coupled to the front surface of the cabinet for selectively opening and closing the laundry receiving hole, the door including: a door cover defining a front appearance; and a door frame coupled to a rear surface of the door cover; a hinge assembly pivotally connecting the door to the front surface of the cabinet, the hinge assembly including: a hinge cover; and a hinge body pivotally coupled to the hinge cover; and a latch assembly coupled to an edge of a rear surface of the door. A mount rib is inserted into a mount rib receiving groove to prevent sagging of the door.

Laundry treating apparatus

In one aspect of the present disclosure, a laundry treating apparatus includes a door including: a door cover; and a door frame coupled to a rear surface of the door cover. A left cover seating portion and a right cover seating portion are respectively defined in a left edge and a right edge of a rear surface portion of the door frame. The left cover seating portion and the right cover seating portion are shaped to be symmetrical with each other with respect to a vertical line bisecting the door horizontally. Each of the left cover seating portion and the right cover seating portion is shaped to be symmetrical with respect to a horizontal line bisecting the door vertically.

A clothes dryer including a cabinet, a drum, a condenser, a sump, a drawer, a hose, a condensate pump, and a condensed water container. The drawer includes a bucket for receiving condensed water which overflows from the condensed water container, and a condensate discharge pipe formed at the bucket to discharge condensed water collected in the bucket. When the drawer is stored in the cabinet, the sump is connected to the condensate discharge pipe such that condensed water introduced through the condensate discharge pipe is returned to the sump. When the drawer is withdrawn from the cabinet, the sump includes a sump connection pipe separated from the condensate discharge pipe.

The laundry treatment apparatus includes a cabinet, a drum having a cylindrical shape, a first support member to rotatably support an open front drum surface, an opening formed through the first support member to allow the drum to communicate with a cabinet opening, a second support member to rotatably support an open rear drum surface, a driving unit to rotate the drum, a first mounting portion provided at a selected one of the support members and disposed below a horizontal line passing through a rotation center of the drum, a second mounting portion provided at the selected support member and disposed above the horizontal line, and a drum support unit configured to rotatably support a circumferential surface of the drum and to be separably coupled to either the first mounting portion or the second mounting portion in an interchangeable manner.
