A method and apparatus for utilizing analytics on power consumption information. A Network Function (NF) supporting a Service Function Chaining (SFC) receives an N4 rule generated by a Session Management Function (SMF) from the SMF. The N4 rule includes information related to change of an SFC path based on power consumption of a UE. The NF supporting the SFC determines an SFC path based on the information related to the change of the SFC path, and communicates with the UE based on the determined SFC path.

One disclosure of the present specification provides a method in which a UE performs communication related to PS Data Off. One disclosure of the present specification provides an operating method for an authentication server function (AUSF) apparatus. The operating method comprises the steps of: requesting a unified data management (UDM) apparatus for information about a serving access and mobility management function (AMF) apparatus for user equipment (UE); receiving, from the UDM apparatus, information indicating that the serving AMF apparatus for the UE is not present and an indication indicating or instructing maintenance of information about authentication and authorization for each network slice; receiving, from the UDM apparatus, information about a new serving AMF apparatus for the UE; and transmitting, to the new serving AMF apparatus, the information about authentication or authorization.

One disclosure of the present specification provides a method by which a network control node performs communication. The method comprises the steps of: determining whether to request, from a network function (NF), control for a network slice on the basis of a session, which is managed by a network control node, being related to an interworking procedure and on the basis of the network slice being controlled by a provider policy set in the network control node, the network slice being related to the session; transmitting a control request message for the network slice to the NF, on the basis of the determination that the network control node requests control for the network slice; and receiving a response message from the NF, wherein the response message includes information about whether the session is available in the network slice.

Provided are a method for adjusting timer T when disaster roaming occurs, and a device supporting same. When a disaster condition is applied to a home public land mobile network (HPLMN), a user equipment (UE) performs registration with a disaster roaming PLMN. When the registration with the disaster roaming PLMN is performed, a timer for periodically searching for the HPLMN does not operate, and the HPLMN is not searched while the timer does not operate. In addition, the UE re-operates the timer on the basis of the disaster condition no longer being applied to the HPLMN or the UE leaving a disaster area.

Provided in one embodiment of the present specification is a method for user equipment (UE) for an Internet protocol multimedia subsystem (IMS) voice session. The method can comprise the steps of: establishing an EMS voice session by using a non 3GPP interworking function (N3IWF) or an enhanced packet data gateway (ePDG) through non-3generation partnership project (3GPP) access; determining that voice is not supported on a current NG-RAN on the basis of that the UE must moves the IMS voice session to a 3GPP access; and handing over a protocol data unit (PDU) session for the IMS voice session of the non-3GPP access to an evolved packet core (EPC) of the 3GPP access on the basis of the determination.

Provided in one disclosure of the present specification is a user equipment (UE) for establishing a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session. The UE may include: a transmission and reception unit; and a processor for controlling the transmission and reception unit. The processor may perform: a step for assessing whether there is a possibility of the PDU session being handed over to a non-3rd Generation Partnership Project (non-3GPP) access; a step for determining the ID of the PDU session according to the assessment; and a step for transmitting a message including the determined ID of the PDU session.

One embodiment of the present specification can provide a method for performing a protocol data unit (PDU) session-related procedure. The method can comprise the steps of: transmitting, to a session management function (SMF) device, a PDU session-related message including a first indication related to communication through a PC5 link; and receiving a response message from the SMF device. The response message can include: a first quality of service (QoS) rule to be used on a Uu link; a second QoS rule to be used on a PC5 link; and a path selection rule about whether data should be transmitted through the Uu link or the PC5 link.
